OXO Tot On-the-Go Feeding Spoon - Navy

OXO's On-the-Go Feeding Spoon was given as part of a gift to the newborn granddaughter of dear friends. The baby's parents started utilizing this item only about 6 weeks ago, when solid food was introduced. They have shared their rave reviews of the practicality of the silicone tip as well as the ease of transporting this spoon in its accompanying carry-case. It is a well-designed spoon, and is always accessible and hygienic. Talk about a true win-win!

The cover is a nice addition to an otherwise standard baby spoon. But I just don't really see the need for it. Maybe it just wasn't a good fit for our lifestyle. My infant daughter didn't eat purees and if we went out to eat, I would simply throw the dirtied spoon in with her silicone bib and placemat in a reusable wet bag. Mess is contained. I never felt like the spoon would get dirty prior to the meal if the spoon was in the bag.

This product just wasn't a great need for our family.

My little guy is able to easily use this spoon on his own. I love how compact and travel friendly it is. The shape of the spoon makes it easier for scooping food up.

This spoon is perfect for me to feed my little one and they love to use it! The container is a great way if you're not able to clean the spoon quickly you can set it down without making a mess! I have 2 kids and got 1 but will definitely be getting another!!

I work with infants with medical and developmental issues and I am very impressed with this spoon. The soft relatively flat bowl makes it easy to get the food off the spoon without scraping something hard against baby's gums. This spoon went to our grandson but I am recommending it to my clients as well.

The spoon is made of very high quality materials. The silicone spoon end is soft. Overall a very nice product.

I think this spoon is very cute. I loved the carrying case, it's so nice for restaurants and on the go places. Everything is washable which is wonderful. It would be nice if it sat on the table without any of the blue part touching the surface.

I received the OXO Tot On-the-Go Feeding Spoon to review as I am a member of the OXO Insider program. I don't have any toddlers in the household but I chose this to test out as I was a bit curious. I know it sounds weird, but, as an adult, I actually liked this product. As a teacher, I bring my lunch every day and I hate having to use plastic spoons or risk losing a good piece of cutlery. First, I like how the spoon has a little carry case. It keeps it clean and transports well. Secondly, although it might seem a bit narrow, it is perfect for yogurt or pudding cups. I don't recommend it for soups or anything for which you would need a larger volume. Lastly, I actually liked the soft texture of the silicone. Overall, I think it is a pretty decent product, and although it might be weird for a grown woman to use a kid's spoon, I honestly use it every day. Decent product.

I received this to test. It's good quality, easy to toss in the diaper bag and the case makes it easier to not worry about keeping it clean before use!

Though, I really like the rubbery end of the spoon and the shape of the actual spoon, I do not like the exposed metal. With my child teething and chewing on everything, I don't want him chewing on metal. The rubbery end is great for catching extra bits on his face well, and I am assuming it feels better on his gums. I wish the whole spoon was made of the same while product of the handle, and then the end had the rubber coating. The travel case is a great idea, though, I feel like I will probably lose it pretty quickly.

This spoon has been perfect for feeding on the go! I don't have to worry anymore about a dirty spoon floating around my diaper bag before I can clean it at home.

In full disclosure I received this item from OXO to test. As I'm retired and have no young children living with me I gave this to a neighbor to have her 2 year old try. She said it was the perfect size for him to handle and the spoon portion was soft enough that he didn't hurt himself when he chewed on the spoon end. It's just the right size that too much food doesn't end up choking him. She also liked the snap close traveling case for when they have to travel to visit their grandparents.

This spoon is the perfect addition to your diaper bag. Takes up almost no room, is safe for little mouths, and has a convenient carrying case. I gift it along with an OXO roll up bib to all my new mom friends!

This product is wonderful. It's the perfect shape and size to get every last bit of food out of the jar. Cleans up easily too! Will definitely buy again.

My wife and I love this! It's the best diaper bag accessory on the market. As our son transitions to eating more solids, we were looking for something that was convenient and easy to store. The plastic case is perfect to minimize the mess, and you don't have to wrap the spoon in a napkin or paper towel after using it.

Love the color, and our little man loves it too. We'll be buying a few more of these!

This tots spoon is awesome! The softness of it for the babies mouths so it doesn't hurt the gums or teeth. The way its edges are for messes around the mouth and getting food in the right amounts. Def something to have for anyone who's on the go and has hungry kids and very safe instead of plastic.

I will say it's def a product you need to hand wash and not have with greasy other food stuff. It will fade and stain cause of how white it is. I'd say quickly washing it would keep everything in tip top shape.

Its a great on the go spoon, and came with a case that is a plus, the only thing that i would prefer is if it were full of silicone, on the metal part sticks the food so is a little bit hard washed on outdoors. But overall is a great on the go spoon!

This spoon is great to keep in the diaper bag for the baby to use when we go out. We just threw spoons in the bag for our older children and they would leave a mess when they were done. The container is great of keeping the spoon clean before eating and the clean after eating. Great addition to our baby supplies.

It has been a little more than a week that we have been using the On-th-Go spoon and we love it. The spoon does have a nice weight handle and feels really nice to the touch. The silicone does feel smooth in my daughters mouth specially since she is teething it sort of comforts her specially in crowded restuarants. It does do a good job in picking up food and it will not hurt babies mouth. My only complain would be that the actual case the spoon comes in does not shut close all the way leaving tiny space for crumbs to get in as a busy mom of 4 it is hard to be crumb fee.

I have been using OXO baby products for over 6 years, from the bottle brushes, to sippy cups. I have never been disappointed. This spoon came at the perfect time as we just started baby foods with our 6 month old! I just throw it in my diaper bag and go! Incredibly convenient!

I received the On The Go feeding spoon to use when caring for my young great niece and it's the perfect go utensil for feeding the little one. My one concern was the travel case, as many of them are quite flimsy and break easily, but after bouncing around in my bag and taking a few trips thru the dishwasher, I've found that it has and will hold up beautifully. The angle of the spoon itself makes getting those last bits of food out of the jars with ease. I like this one so much, I've purchased a few more to give to my young friends who are expecting, it's the perfect edition to any well stocked diaper bag!

The spoon is great. I love that it is dishwasher safe. I don't know if the case is dishwasher safe (if it isn't... I don't want to hand wash it and will just use the spoon.)

We use the OXO teal baby spoons for my children, but I love the travel case! I can pop the spoon in my purse or diaper bag and I know it will stay clean, especially important for my child with food allergies. Easy to open/shut case with one hand, and I love the simple OXO design.

A handy spoon with case to carry in diaper bag for restaurant outings, etc. my one year old finds it manageable as he learns to self feed and the silicon makes it like a little spatula, good for getting every bit of applesauce, etc.

Yes, this is baby spoon, but it's perfect for me to use for scooping my night cream out of the jar. The spoon itself is slightly upward and handle is perfect for my arthritic hands and the case keeps it nice and neat. Once again OXO has a winner!

We LOVE this spoon for the unique shape of the mouthpiece, the soft silicone, the clever angle of the handle, and the carrying case that makes it possible to take it anywhere and keeps it clean inside your bag. You don't realize the angle of a normal spoon isn't ideal for feeding until you use this spoon. It makes it so much easier to get a big bite in. My only suggestion that would make it an 11/10 would be to design a case that also fits some sanitizing wipes since it's not convenient to wash the spoon after a meal on the go.

Someone at the Oxo design department must have dropped out of dental school. This baby spoon is curved so perfectly to fit into a baby's mouth. Most baby spoons, the baby can spit it out before you get any food into their mouth. With OXO baby spoons they are curved so that the food can go right at the top of the pallet. A baby's instinct is to push with their tongue and the OXO spoon is indispensable for making sure food actually gets in the mouth. I buy them for all new mothers because they should be the only spoon in their arsenal!

I already own 4 of these spoons; this is my 5th one. They are absolutely perfect for baby's first meals. My daughter is teething and these spoons don't hurt her gums. It also just gets the right amount of food for her because it is quite shallow. My 3 year old still uses hers for her yogurt. My issue is with the travel case. The hinge broke after a few uses. Definitely needs improvement on that part, being that it is supposed to be a travel spoon. Overall, much recommended!
