I love this stroller! We’ve had it for 2 years now. It has been to over 20 countries & on more airplanes than I could ever count. I previously had a GB Pockit and the YO-YO is leaps and bounds superior. The yo-yo is so easy to fold and unfold, the seat has a nice recline for babies to sleep and the canopy extends pretty far especially for a small stroller. It fits great in the overhead bin but on some small planes we’ve been on it’s actually been to big for the overhead bins but that’s okay because it will fit under the seat too. We have never had a problem carrying it on to any plane. I have had no trouble navigating different terrains and overall the stroller feels very sturdy. I did purchase the backpack carrying back but it’s a waste of money because it’s so big and bulky and it makes the stroller to big to be a carry on item. The winter foot muff is a must though if you’ll be in a cold environment, my babies have loved it!

Great stroller for travel! It folds down compact, easy to carry with the shoulder strap and fits in overhead bin of planes. It lives in the trunk of our car and hardly takes anyone room. We never have to take it out. It has a great push for such a small compact stroller.

Pros: Upgraded to the Yoyo2 from a GB Pockit+ and the difference is remarkable. The compact fold of the Pockit makes it feel like it could explode into a million pieces at any moment; the Yoyo is clearly more sturdy (although you sacrifice the smaller fold). It is also much easier to push - the ride is super smooth. The suspension really makes the ride comfortable for the kiddo. Mine slept for over an hour over bumpy sidewalks in 90 degree heat. The pocket on the back is a perfect place to put a phone and a water bottle, and the basket underneath is big enough for a few things plus a kid's backpack or a purse. Sun canopy is very large and does a great job. The carrying strap is high quality and the stroller itself is not very heavy. It fits easily in overhead compartments or under the seats in most (newer) airplanes.

Cons: Folding is kind of difficult. I still haven't quite gotten the hang of it. Once you get the buttons on the bottom pushed it seems like it should just fold, but it doesn't always work that way. There's also no ventilation for the kiddo inside. The peekaboo window is made of clear plastic, which I guess is good if it's raining or snowing, but it really traps the heat in there and doesn't allow much airflow.

Overall, a great travel stroller with few compromises. Probably the best one out there and we'll be buying another one when our twins arrive.
Best Uses
  • Travel. I wouldn't use this as an every day stroller unless you are going up and down stairs often and your child is older. Definitely not the best option for infants.

We recently took the Babyzen Yoyo2 to London. It easily fit in the overhead bin on the plane. The Yoyo2 was perfect for getting on and off the tube. It could be easily folded and held with the carrying strap to navigate stairs in the tube stations. The fully reclining seat was great for naps on the go. The only con is the Yoyo2's front wheels wobbles sometimes on smooth pavement.

Front wheels shake when moving

I like the idea of this stroller and it does fit in the overhead bin of an airplane (which is why I bought it). It does not roll down the aisle of all airplanes. The buckle to strap the child in is about 1 step too much. It’s not like regular buckles on strollers.
The first time we used ours on a trip on regular concrete going at a regular walking speed the front wheels started shaking.
I called Albee baby about this issue and they referred me to the manufacturer who then told me any exchanges must be done within 14 days of purchase. It took almost a week to get the stroller then we didn’t use it right away so unfortunately my 14 days had lapsed before I even knew there was a problem with the stroller.
From the manufacturer’s emails it seems like the wheels shaking while the stroller is in motion might be a common problem . They said it was just a visual defect, which is incorrect. It’s is a structural problem as well.
I compared the yoyo to the bugaboo compact travel stroller and whished I would have tried a different one now.

I ultimately chose this stroller over the Nuna TRVL and other compact strollers because it folds up the smallest and can be put it in virtually every airline overhead bin, so no gate checking. I'm in love with how compact it is and how sturdy it feels. Baby is very comfortable in it. We went to Europe this summer and 90% of the strollers were Babyzen Yoyos. They look like they did very well on cobblestone. There is some recline. I do wish the canopy covered a bit more of baby's legs without having to buy the parasol attachment, but understand that would compromise the compactness.

Our stroller setup is a Doona for car seat + errands, jogging stroller for neighborhood walks, and now that he's almost outgrown the Doona, a Nuna Rava car seat + Babyzen Yoyo for errands. I'm glad we didn't go with a classic bulky travel system because I find those strollers hard to fit in restaurants and stores.

Still the hero, but caution on meeting your heroes

I've been a flight attendant for 25 years and have seen every kiddo travel tip, trick and device there is. As a new and older parent, I knew the YOYO was the travel stroller to have and it is the stroller to have in Paris, bien sur! Of course, I got the Air France edition. On our first jet voyage it fit as needed either under a seat or in an overhead bin. We were never questioned about it and I'm the crew member that ushers the YOYO on board when I'm at the boarding door. You paid for the privilege so on it goes! The seat material is comfortable for the baby and easy to adjust the back up and down. The storage is not backpack friendly but easy enough to throw things down there. Just remember all those things have to be removed to fold the YOYO up. Up and down subway stairs, I generally just lower the handlebar and pick baby and all up instead of playing around with other configurations. The YOYO simply works as advertised as the hero of travel strollers.

However, I have found the folding method tricky, and when dealing with crowd pressure and runaway toddler, even 4-letter word inducing. I just though folding it up would be as crazy cool and simple as folding it out. The wheels might be the issue? The fabric? I think any other stroller I wouldn't have an issue with it, but I expected more from my hero of strollers. Sometimes it works a charm. I'm still working on the best method. The front wheels wobble a lot. I haven't found a best method for that either except to have a lighter touch on the handlebar. Again, I expected more from years of anticipation I could get a YOYO.

Still, it's the best. It does what you need it to do and provides great style and innovation at the same time. I'd buy it again; I'd recommend it to anyone, and my complaints are merely quirks that I can simply declare as French.

Got this stroller in preparation for moving to Japan and for travel. This is a great size for but air travel and train travel. I love that the ride is smooth and the handlebar is high enough that my husband (5'11") and I (5'6") don't have to slouch to push it. The carrying strap is very convenient. The weight is very reasonable. The two step fold isn't too bad either, though my husband still needs to get the hang of it. I look forward to using this adventuring in Japan!

absolutely love this stroller.
I had been told it was the best travel stroller in the market but i was reluctant to get it, because it is much pricier than other travel strollers in the market.
However after watching multiple video reviews, decided to go for it and I do not regret it at all. It is very light and convenient specially if you purchase the travel bag. It folds very easily and is super light. I own a cheaper travel stroller that is smaller than this one but this one drives super smoothly, not bad when comparing it to our full size nuna which is also a dream to "drive".
My baby loves this stroller and we've been using it as a daily stroller too without complaints

I love this stroller compared to my previous full size one. It glides well, a little harder to get over big bumps but I can manage. It’s easy to open and close with one or both hands! My only complaint is that the latch to hold the stroller folded up is not very secure and opens easily. The car seat adaptors are also awkward to remove from the stroller to put car seat in car. I wish it was easier to transfer. Besides that I am overall very satisfied.

If you travel, you need this stroller

We reach for this stroller every time we are out and about. It is so light, and small, that it's convenient to just toss in the trunk to have if needed. However, it is a MUST when we fly. I love that we do not have to check our stroller and that it folds up small enough to fit through the security scanners. It makes the airport process so much easier.
One of the key reasons I chose this specific travel stroller (besides it fitting in the overhead compartment of the plane) is that the infant seat can attach to it. We have a Nuna Pipa (which is also wonderful to travel with), and being able to snap it on the stroller when we are on the go was very nice.

I have received so many inquiries about this stroller when we are out. Many moms wish they had it, and I can't recommend it enough.

I bought this for travel as a secondary stroller. It is so easy to fold and unfold, it is super light, and it fits under the seat on an airplane. My daughter is 17 months and she is really big for her age. However, she doesn’t seem safely secured in the stroller. If she sits forward, the straps loosen dramatically. She never really seems too comfortable in the stroller (compared to her primary stroller, uppababy vista). Hopefully she will grow into it. Otherwise, for now, it’s a great stroller for short trips but not necessarily long walks.

We got this stroller to have as a backup to keep at work and for travel. It's been great for both of those purposes! The Yoyo folds up so small and is very easy to fold and unfold (though it does take some practice to flick it open like in the videos). Despite being very compact, it holds up quite well on rough sidewalks and even can handle cobblestone.

I originally bought this stroller because we had a vista and I couldn’t carry it around as easily by myself when my husband isn’t around. I figured it’s time to get a compact travel stroller, also with the hopes of traveling soon! This stroller is easy to use, light weight, and comfortable. My 16 month old son loves it. I must say; it feels a little flimsy and wobbly? But maybe because I’m used to the vista being so heavy and sturdy. I give this 4 stars! I wish the basket was a little bigger, but it offers an attachment bag if you need more storage!

We changed the stroller from Cybex miso to this babyzen when my baby turned 1 year. Perfect stroller. Easy to hold, easy to move! With this size of stroller I can walk in very narrowly places, for example in the food store. I can wash every detail in washer machine. Love this! Now expecting the second baby and the good thing that I can buy bassinet for newborn and in accessories I can order babyzen yoyo board for my first baby with will turns 2,5 years! I’m so happy. And I can also put there a car seat! Perfect!

We registered for this stroller and it’s honestly one of our favorite items! The few clicks it takes to pack it up plus the convenience of being able to travel with it will come in very handy.
