Not easy to get on and traps heat.

I really wanted to love this product, as we are very weary of the sun, due to a prevalence of skin cancer in our family and I wanted to hold off on rubbing chemicals all over their very precious, new skin. However, it is hard to get on and off, your children with fight to get it off as it limits their vision, but the worst part is that it traps heat INSIDE, so your already irritated children are now uncomfortable. I really wish I could give it a 5-star review, it just needs some tweaks.

I have only used the mesh cover a few times. It is not very easy to put on especially with a toddler kicking it. That being said it is great for keeping the kids protected from the sun and bugs.

This is so easy to put on, it looks sleek and its totally see-through so the kids don't have a problem with it either. Super lightweight material. I debated getting this item and I am so glad I did; despite slathering my kids with sunscreen, I still get worried about all that sun. Thule is an excellent brand and I continue to be impressed. Yes it is worth the money. I've done some research and apparently the canopy can fade over time from the sun so I went ahead and bought another while it was on sale. Great accessory!
