Skip Hop Sit-To-Step High Chair - Grey

Overall, the chair is okay. The step stool (and highchair itself) is a little bulky. The ability to fold is helpful in a small kitchen, and the "stepstool" set-up is an attractive feature. My biggest complaint (aside from overall bulkiness which may not be the easiest to avoid) is the material of the seat cover. Despite washing per the instructions, the outside layer of coating is peeling off. I will soon need to replace the entire chair. I fear that the peeling [plastic?] will be a hazard when my little one inevitably tries to eat the flaking coating. The chair is unusable without it because of holes in the plastic seat underneath. Not a bad chair, but I haven't used it nearly long enough to need a replacement and my bank account certainly is ready for that either.

Perfect for my baby and my three year old to use the stool. All in one

We were gifted this chair on our registry and we were so grateful. So far, we have loved this chair. Our 2.5 month old can be close by when I cook or when we eat at the table. Our 2-year-old uses the kitchen helper mode almost every day. If it's in chair mode, he still climbs up and loves to sit higher up just to hang out in the kitchen. (He's a skinny guy, so his legs fit fine.) It's been in the highest position since assembly and it hasn't had any issues falling down.
I love the bib hook and the tray storage feature (just discovered it in a video).
The box did not come with assembly instructions or instructions for use, but it's available on YouTube.
To disassemble the rail or the chair, you have to pull hard or step on the bottom, so it pulls out at the top. I tried to be gentle as not to break it, but that didn't do anything.
We have hit our feet on the legs a bunch of times, because the legs stick out far for stability.
We haven't used the tray feature yet, besides assembling it (so great to have the removable tray!).

Over all, we love the chair so far!

I love this highchair and it's sleek design. It conveniently folds so it can easily be moved and it converts to a toddler step stool which is awesome.

I ordered this chair for my baby when he was about 2 months old, and we've been using it for about a month. We love it--it's a great way to keep him happy and engaged during mealtimes. He's tall for his age, but is a long way away from outgrowing this chair. So far, it's a great purchase.

Really liked this at first but the insert ripped within 4 weeks of use. Really disappointed because of how expensive this is. It's also heavy and takes up a lot of space. However, I dealt with that because I liked it. But now that the cushion has ripped I have a hard time still being happy. Haven't found where I can buy a replacement cushion insert either.

We have been using this chair for at least 6 months for our, as of this review, 14 month old.  Also, I am a SAHM so this chair gets lots of daily use (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
Pros:
I like that it is portable in that it can go from the corner of the room to the dining area of the room on our hardwood floors.
I like that the tray and chair pad can be removed to thoroughly clean up after baby eats.
I like its ability to go from "sit to step".
Cons:
It's frustrating actually moving the chair bc it has 2 wheels instead of 4 and is very heavy.
It's frustrating removing the tray cover from its insert to clean it. If you care about your nails at all forget about it!  You risk breaking them evey single time you perform this task.  The chair pad has a bunch of necessary straps that keep the baby safely seated but are a pain to attach and reattach after every feeding.
It's frustrating configuring the chair from the step stool position back to the high chair position bc removing the hand rail bar is inexplicably difficult.
I just wish this chair was easier to use. It does all of the things it says it does, just not very easily. 

I loved this high chair when we first started using it. It's sturdy, easy to clean and most of all perfect size. Unfortunately within the last week The seat cover ripped, ripped so much I don't know how I will even fix it nor if I can. The real kicker is we have been using it for less than 6 weeks. I'm really disappointed

As a first-time mum I thought this would have been the best grow with the baby option, but my baby is now 9 months and a solid 26 bs and there's hardly any space left between him and the tray and I just wish I could push the seat back more to give him more space. The tray table storage is a bit annoying as it does fall off easily and I wish the hook at the back for the bib was a bit harder.... but the biggest issue is with the seat space and how close the tray table fits.
The chair is very sturdy and the price tag suits the quality of the product, I'm just really disappointed at the lack of seat space.

Pro: Looks great. Smallish footprint. Easy to clean.

Con: Nowhere to store tray when not in use. (If you put under chair it constantly falls when you move the chair). After cleaning, you have to assemble the chest straps in a very specific way for them to connect correctly. It's hard to move the chair with a child in it.

Pros:
The chair goes well with our dining table and chairs. I like how it can recline for our newborn (2 month) to sit in. I also like that it can turn into a stepping stool but we haven't got to use it this way yet. The cushion is easy to wipe and remove. The chair is very sturdy and stable. It can definitely hold the weight of a toddler.
Cons:
Our baby sweat A LOT because of the cushion. We have to put a towel between him and the cushion. It gets too hot for him to sit through the dinner. Also, the chair seems small. Our baby is 14 lbs now and seems to fill at least 70% of the space. I don't think this will last until he's 2 years old. It needs some practice to work with the tray.

I just recently received. My baby girl is just going to start on solids and we are excited to have her accompany us at the dinner table.

I bought this chair in hopes that it would be a better fit for our 1 year old - the current chair we have just results in him sliding out of place and eating really slumped and uncomfortable - and I love all your other products do much, so I just bought it. There is no way my 22 lb tot is going to grow and fit in this chair until he is 3. He is slender so I thought the previous review that mentioned the same flaw maybe was for a larger tot. Nope. The notch in the center is so bulky and you cannot adjust the width of the seat at all to accommodate size. I removed the top cushion. Nope. It's just not going to work. I wanted this chair to be a win ... but it isn't. It probably would have been the perfect chair until now.

The top tray could be easier to remove- it sticks a bit to remove.

The stool appears nice but I've never used it.

This high chair is so worth the price! We love it. It's sturdy, trendy, and will grow as our baby grows, so we're looking forward to it having a long life. Couldn't be happier with our high chair!

I ordered this chair and really loved the way it looked. It has an awesome design and the top of the tray is removable and very easy to clean. Unfortunately, the space between the chair and tray was really tight (no matter how much you adjusted it) so I ended up returning it. This high chair is supposed to be able to last until the transition to toddlerhood but my average sized son is only 11 months already fit pretty snug. I worried that the chair wouldn't last longer than a few more months, if even that.

Overall, love the look and design but definitely fits too small.

Easy to wipe down or take off to wash. However, after washing a handful of times I can see the material starting to tear already and one of the loop holes came off... As mentioned in another review, the tray doesn't slide evenly. I find it kind of difficult to take off the plastic tray to wash. The seat seems comfortable. We haven't gotten to use the steps yet so I can't speak to that. However, we do have a climber so I bet she's gonna love it. I like that it can fold and be put away.

I bought this for our 2nd baby as I hated the first high chair we had bc it was so hard to clean. This one is amazing. It's comfortable, easy to clean, and has different positions. Plus when babe outgrows it we can use it as a kitchen helper!! Love this.

Got this as a replacement for the recalled high chair. This one is good! Comfy for my 6 mo old and easy to use. Reclining feature is a plus too. Sturdy legs.

We just recently purchased this for our youngest child. Assembly was fast and easy which worries me that it wouldn't be sturdy but it is! So very well made and my daughter loves it. First day we had it she sat in it with no fuss, ended up falling asleep in it haha. It is truly a great buy, very much worth it

In the past I have had a difficult time finding a high chair that I don't mind taking up space in my small dining room. This one is wonderful! The capability of switching it quickly and easily to a step is fantastic. I haven't even bothered to fold it up because the chair looks so good in the space.

We love this highchair so much and the added step stool later on is awesome. It was quick and easy to put together as well. My only con is that the tray doesn't slide on evenly and we have gotten my sons fingers caught. Overall it's very well made and I would recommend it!

I purchased this high chair about a month ago for my 4month old. Assembly was only 4 screws, simples assembly. I really like that it turns into a stool for the kids that way when ever my baby is done using it as a high chair we can still keep it. The material is wipable and the the table has a removeable covef so its really easy to clean.

This high chair is awesome! We had a graco one but she did not like it - never wanted to sit in it. This one she loves and will sit in it even after she's done eating! Love that she will be able to use it as a step stool when she's older too!

After 5 kids worth of high chairs this is hands down my favorite. The construction is sturdy, even after being slid around the kitchen when not using it. My son is 17lbs and he loves this seat. I can't wait to be able to convert it to a helpers stool!

Love the fact that this grows with baby. The slight recline is perfect for my 7 month old and the kitchen helper is perfect for my almost 3 year old. I'm happy that I can get multiple uses out of this for both children - very functional. It's also easy to clean and the fabric is machine washable.

This product has been the absolute cure for our potty training woes. My toddler absolutely loves it. She loves the fact that it looks like the "big potty" and is very intrigued by the flushing sound (genius feature). The removable bowl makes for very easy disposal and cleaning. There's also a section to hold wipes - very convenient. All in all we are so happy we came across this product - no more potty struggles.

My son loves his high chair. Not only can he eat in his high chair he loves the fact that he can also use the step stool to put his things in the sink to help out his mommie clean. It is very easy to clean as well as put together.

I've never been so excited about a highchair before. It's sturdy and beautifully made with Beachwood accents, so it fits into any home decor. It can be raised or lowered to pull up to the dinner table, allowing children to be part of the family meal.
The seat can adjust from slightly reclining angle to feed infants to sitting straight up for older children. The harness straps and buckles are extremely well made and secures child into seat. The leg diviner bump adds additional security and prevents children from sliding down in the seat.

This is a great high chair that will last us a long time. I have a three year old and a 9 month old and this chair will work perfectly with both of them. It's easy to adjust for each child and I like how it reclines for my younger child. I will need another one, now that my 9 month old is starting to eat regular meals with us. The best part, is that the seat easilybconverts to a kitchen helper. My three year old loves that he can he tall enough to see what I am doing in the kitchen.

Been using this Skip Hop Sit to Step High Chair for the past couple weeks now and the experience has been great. It is an extremely versatile baby chair and transitions to meet your needs as your little one grows. I've been using this high chair in the upright position for my little one during mealtime with ease. I like that the seat of this high chair is adjustable to different inclines. It'll be super convenient to be able recline during bottle feedings. As my little one gets to a toddler stage and outgrows this high chair, I like that I am able to transform it into a step stool. This high chair is strong and sturdy and seems to be made of good quality. The chair is easy to clean and the parts are removable too.

Wow, I absolutely love this highly chair. I was in need of one and this is definitely the best I've seen in a while. It has so many features I like, the chair part reclines into any position that will work best for baby. It has a step ladder for when their toddler size and older. The seat is so comfortable my baby just loves sitting in eat all the time

This highchair is very modern looking looks great in my kitchen, the bamboo legs are very strong and beautiful in color with a smooth texture. The grey is light and love it is neutral would be great for boy or girl. The grey looks smooth and stylish.The high chair seat is very easy to wipe clean and is a very nice material, that feels very durable. The seat is lined twice for that extra comfort/head support and I love that. The straps are adjustable and keep baby secure in highchair. The tray is lined twice very easy to pop off top and clean, I love the product is very easy to transition from highchair to stepper and the bars clip in easily and hold securely. I am most excited about how spacious and how well this highchair closes for storage. This highchair is very lightweight and has very easy to push buttons that close highchair with some help. The wheels on one side of product make this highchair super easy to move from room to room for storage or setup. The wheels also help to assist you with closing product to store. The other side of legs have a nice grip at the bottom to securely hold highchair in place even with wheels on other side I find this a great feature because in order to move product wheel you have to slightly tilt. The stand is a great transitioning feature for my daughter she can help me mix food in the kitchen and help wash dishes as well all things she love to help with. The stand securely locks in place and it very spacious she can easily move around from side to side. The stair is a nice feature as well and is very sturdy. For storage the stand as well as sides of highchair have a button to close up and save a ton of space. I would recommend this product to others because this product grows with child, is very durable, stylish, modern, space saver, safe for baby as well as secure. While I will admit my girls are a bit to big for the high chair part the rest of this has been fantastic. My girls always want to try to assist me in the kitchen and its hard to find something they can stand on without having to invest hundreds into a kitchen helper. This definitely was perfect cause its good from infant all the way up. No need to buy separate units. It grows with my kids.
