Easy to use my Preemie baby latches on so much easier using this he loves it and I love it and it's easy to clean

For those who really want to breastfeed this is for you moms. My baby was laching perfectly fine but than the nurse gave him a bottle and oh boy it changed the game on me. I got this nipple shield and he laches on perfectly now we are working to go natural without it. Great way to support the breastfeeding mamas.

These literally saved me from giving up. Baby was having a hard time latching, wouldn't stay latched once she did it right because of my fast let-down. I was at my wits end and did an online search for one last way to make it work because the doctor was starting to push me into formulas,I gave these a shot on a whim, and am now doing great, such peace of mind, I cried when she successfully latched with the first try and fed for about 13 minutes straight, it saved me from giving up.

I was given the at the hospital with my son. I was unable to breastfeed with my first son due to issues with inverted nipples. The lactation showed my husband how to put it on me and BAM! It was like we had always been doing it. Now two weeks k in we are still going strong and able to go back and forth sometimes with shield and without.... Oh yeah and the lazing ones are garbage....

My daughter is only a few days old and we have been struggling to breastfeed. Bought these last night and have not had an issue since. She latches right on now and I feel she gets more milk then just from the bare nipple alone. Very happy with my purchase!

After an unsuccessful breast-feeding journey with my daughter I decided to try again with my son and thanks to the Medela Nipple Shield, breastfeeding my son has been successful this time around. I highly recommend this product.

The sizes for these nipple things are the worst. I never know quite what size I fit. I had originally ordered the S but it bruised my nipple after nursing since it was too big. After I tried the XS, it fit perfect. It's enables my little tongue tied baby to nurse. Yay!

After suffering from a failed breastfeeding attempt with my daughter three years ago (in short, I was in agony, I'll spare all of you the gory details), I was skeptical about it working a second time with my newborn son. The hospital where he was born handed them out for moms hoping to breastfeed. I decided to give it a try on Day 1 to attack the problems I had before they start. I was extremely surprised I could breastfeed without any of the pain I had experienced before. My son also took to latching on to them without ANY problems. Sure we both squirmed and wiggled a bit to find the best latch-on position but doesn't every mom go through that? Now, I've got a pair at home and a pair in my purse for breastfeeding on the go. I'm so happy to be able to experience pain-free breastfeeding with my son. User tip: New moms and/or moms who've suffered, but want to give it a try with their other children: buy them and have them in your hospital bag to use the moment things get painful. Just be sure to buy the right size for you! I had bought small not knowing that there were other sizes and the hospital was able to provide me with a new pair in the right size.
In short: this product saved my sanity and quite possibly helped me avoid severe postpartum depression. Thank you SO much!!!

My baby was having latch problems from birth, she wouldn't open wide enough to get a deep latch. The hospital provided me with at 20mm and I used that for 3 weeks and it worked great but now I am going to try and ween her off the shield all together so I bought this 16mm and it works great too. I would say if you are having latch problems or have flat/inverted nipples you should buy one or two of these. They are 100% worth it. Do not give up on breastfeeding! It's hard mentally and physically especially when baby has latch problems and is hurting your nipples but breastfeeding is so worth it! If you're having problems buy a shield and have a Lactation consultant teach you how to use it :)

This product is my saving grace. We wouldn't have been able to breastfeed without it. I still use it every time and it's so great! It's easy to put on and my baby latches on really well and can easily adapt between this and the bottle nipple. If you're struggling to breastfeed, give this a try!

Started with a bottle so when I decided to try breastfeeding she rejected it. But with the segue with the shield I was actually able to get her to take the breast after about 3 weeks. Wonder cure!

I bought this product to help transition from the shield to the breast. I was using the 24 mm medium size. The typical size purchased at the stores. It was doing its job but the size was making it difficult for my NB to latch onto me naturally without the use of the shield. The 16mm extra small size got her to transition faster. The extra small is more realistic for women with flat or inverted nipples. Its much smaller allowing the baby a more successful transition from the shield to a non typical breast (flat or inverted nipples) The larger sizes are too much like a bottle nipple and NB babies develop a lazy latch. I am so glad I ordered the extra small!!!!
