Nifty little contraption.

This is great for babies that have a poor latch, women who have flat nipples, or women that are dealing with cracked or bleeding nipples due to breastfeeding or pumping. I had no idea something like this existed (and to be honest I was a little hesitant to believe my breastfeeding complications would be rectified by a flimsy piece of silicone), but this literally encouraged my newborn son to correctly latch at first use. This was one of the first things I purchased to include in my hospital bag for the upcoming arrival of my daughter, and while I hope to not have the nursing complications that I did with my son, I'm glad I have this on hand just in case.
