Maxi-Cosi Tayla Travel System - Essential Graphite

First time mom and I am in love with this stroller. At first I was a tad intimidated; but as I got to know the stroller and it's functions . It became muscle memory for me . The only reason I wouldn't recommend this to a friend is cause people are not as attentive to details

I was super excited my husband caved to let me buy this stroller and now I wont admit that I was wrong! Although I love everything Maxi, this stroller isn't worth the price or time. When steering, it doesn't take to turns. You have to lift the stroller to get it to turn.

I LOVE this travel system. The leather handles are such a beautiful touch and the safety ratings are incredible. This is so easy to get in and out of the car and the attachment for the bassinet is such a great addition. 10/10 recommend!

Stroller-
The all black design is sleek and very visually appealing. The stroller frame is sturdy and very well made. This also makes it a bit heavier then other strollers on the market but worth it in my opinion. I love that it can turn on a dime!! Such a smooth ride using both the stroller seat and the infant seat. My absolute favorite part of the stroller is how far back the regular stroller seat reclines!! No need for any additional infant inserts, you just simply recline the seat and it lays almost flat!

Infant Car seat-
The removable inner carrier component was a really neat feature. I did have to read the manual on how to do it properly but after that it was quite simple. The downside is that it makes the infant car seat very very long! Because of the placement of the inner carrier straps being right at the top and bottom of the seat it elongated the seats total length a few inches. For reference we have a Chevy impala and Ford Explorer and it was hard to put in BOTH vechiles and still give the driver room up front.

Everything about this set feels luxe. I feel fancy pushing my daughter through our neighborhood in the stroller, which is definitely not something I could say of my previous stroller. The leather handle is beautiful, the fabrics are high-quality, and it has lots of fancy features like the extended sunshade and the adjustable handle.

My favorite feature is that it folds easily without removing the seat, and can stand up on its own when folded. I'll never again buy a stroller that can't do both of those things!

My 2-year old daughter loves riding forward-facing in this stroller. The seat sits up a lot higher off the ground than our other stroller, which she loves - it was awesome for a recent visit to the zoo! I also love the height for tending to my 3-month old when I'm pushing her in the infant carrier.

The car seat is super easy to install and to attach to the stroller. It's also super light-weight, and I love the design of the handle.

The one thing I have disliked is closing the extended sunshade back up. It is an awesome shade, but zipping it back into its little pocket is tedious. I probably just won't end up using the shade in most circumstances - I know it will be worth the hassle when it's really sunny.

I can't get enough of the Tayla travel system! This stroller is SO easy to use, when I'm alone I don't worry at all, I literally pop it open with one hand, click in the carseat, and I'm good to go. Also, the fact that it looks so nice helps. Also the storage underneath is just enough to not look too big but fits the diaper bag and a few other essentials. I recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I absolutely love this travel system. We love the look and it's versatility. Love the adjustable handle. It's a big thing for us because my husband is super tall & I am very tiny. We are very pleased! The car seat is also amazing. My little girl is super comfy in there.

This stroller easily converts from using with a car seat to the additional seat for different options. Really love the adjustable leather handle and the large carrying basket underneath! My only wish would be for a second seat adaption to be able to add another kiddo! It's so great!

I love this travel system! The infant seat is comfortable for baby and lightweight making it easy to carry. The stroller is very nice and sleek looking, a smooth ride and folds easily and compactly. This is THE ultimate travel system. With our first baby, we chose a different brand travel system, and at the time, I thought it was great. But now that I have tested out the Tayla, I can't believe what I was missing out on!! First off, the Mico XP infant car seat is SO light weight. This is probably my favorite feature. I have a larger SUV and have to lift up the car seat a little higher than your average car to set it in the base and it is a breeze with the Mico XP. I like how easy it is to remove from the base and that I can carry it with one hand/arm, while I'm lugging around all the other baby necessities! The car seat is made of a super soft fabric and you can tell it is comfortable and well padded. We already had a Pria convertible car seat for our toddler and love the ease of cleaning the fabric and how comfy it is. The Mico XP easily goes from car to stroller and I'm actually able to open the stroller with one hand! This was not the case with any other strollers I've used. This stroller is gorgeous, y'all! I love the matte black with the leather bumper bar and leather handle. I'm 5'10" and the adjustable handle was a nice addition to have, making the stroller the perfect height for pushing. Our neighborhood has a lot of bumpy sidewalks and the all wheel suspension made for a smooth ride. The reversible stroller seat was easy to switch directions. I prefer to have my toddler facing me when we are at a store, but facing out when we go for a walk. The 4 recline positions were helpful when he fell asleep on a trip to the zoo; I could lay down the seat and let him nap while we walked around! I also really like how the seat cushion easily comes out in case you need to wash it, but also that it has a mesh side for hot summer days. I honestly love this stroller and my only complaint is that the cup holder is not permanently attached or more substantial. I received this travel system as a part of the stellar product testing panel. It has a very smooth ride, sleek features and light/compact design. The canopy was very nice quality fabric, I just wish it stretched out towards the feet a little more. I loved that I could snap the car seat in and be on the go unless than a minute. My toddler loved the attachable seat and he looked comfortable in it. The stroller basket is a good size with a 25lb weight limit which is nice. I also liked that it came with a rain cover and a cup holder standard. The only downside was that I had a hard time getting the straps of the car seat tight enough and opening the stroller was a little stiff which may improve with use. Overall, I felt more luxurious when using it. The quality of the fabrics and leather handles make it.

As a mom of four and owner of over a dozen strollers (truth!) I was really pleased with the Tayla Travel System. I'm a picky mom who wants the looks, the ease, a smooth ride and a lightweight and manageable system. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that the Tayla Travel System accomplishes all of these things!

A more detailed breakdown:
Assembly + Setup: Upon opening the shipping box, I had the stroller setup and ready for a walk within minutes. In fact, my 4yo did most of the work! I then switched out the carseat for the stroller seat and that was also a breeze. When I took the stroller to go grocery shopping, I found that the in/out of the car and setup was quick and easy. I was able to do most of it with one-hand.

Weight + Accessibility: One of my main complaints with past stroller systems is that the pieces are SO heavy and to add to that, it's hard to clip the pieces together given how heavy things can be. Not so with the Tayla, each of the elements - adaptors, stroller seat, carseat, are relatively lightweight (while still feeling sturdy + safe) which makes clipping in and out very easy. I was amazed at how sturdy the stroller felt while still being lightweight enough to readily manage.

Looks + Ride: This is hands down the most attractive stroller I've owned. The leather details are premium and i prefer the matte finishes to some of the other strollers that are shiny. (Shiny looks dirty and dinged up quickly) The ride is amazing! Smooth, hardly any bounces. We live in New England and the winter brings us a lot of bumps in the sidewalk, my baby hardly noticed as she napped through our walk.

In summary - the Tayla is a great travel system with the looks, ease, ride and more. I received this system as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am thrilled to make this my newest and most favorite stroller.

We love this stroller! Before this, we had been using a jogging stroller with the car seat attachment. I will never look back. This stroller weighs about half as much, and it is so much easier to put in and out of my car when there are kids running around.

I am used to using a car seat attachment, and this one is much smoother to get the car seat in and out of compared to our previous jogging stroller. And it folds much more compactly too -- I had no issue getting it into my car or my compact SUV, and it was something I could in fact do with one hand. The seat itself was easy to install, thanks to the clear instructions.

An added perk of this carseat is that it seems to fit a larger infant. My daughter is below the weight and height limits for her Britax infant car seat, but we had struggled to get her in because the straps just aren't adjustable enough. We have not had that problem with this one. The storage on this stroller is more than any other stroller I have used -- it is very easy to fit my large diaper bag in it.

Another perk of this travel system is the aesthetics of it. This looks like a very high end stroller with the black color and the leather detailing. The fact that there is a canopy included is also a nice perk, as I am used to buying those separately with other travel systems.

I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel! I really liked this travel system! The car seat was super comfortable for my LO and really easy to install. My toddler also loved the toddler seat and I loved the extra large canopy and privacy shade. The stroller was really easy to push and had a large basket for storage. It was very simple to put together too and i really love the look of it. The one hand fold was very convenient but it took a few tries to get used to. The only thing I did not love about the stroller was it took an adapter to attach the car seat and I had to take the seat off. I tend to travel with one of my kids at a time and it was harder to travel with the seat and keep track of the adapters for the infant car seat or vise versa. I would have preferred if the seat and car seat can click into the same piece so I didn't have an extra piece lying around in my car. Overall it's a great travel system!

The car seat and stroller are made with flexible, soft fabric that is very comfortable for baby and provide a nice sleek look! Our favorite features of the stroller are a large canopy with built in bug net and an extendable handle bar that can make pushing the stroller comfortable for anyone! A few minor downsides to the stroller are a small storage basket under the stroller and a flimsy cup holder. Our favorite features of the car seat are an easy to install base and a light weight car seat making it a breeze to carry baby around in! A few minor downsides to the car seat include the moveable headrest that doesn't stay put very well and the large canopy that makes it hard to carry the car seat by the handle when the canopy is fully extended. Overall this is a great stroller that makes transporting baby in style easy! This stroller also allows many different configurations meeting the needs of baby at every stage. It would be an added bonus if the stroller was able to accommodate more than one kid!

It is such an easy system to use. Took less than 10 minutes to set up and we were off.
First impressions are huge! Right away I could see the quality materials used and they truly look and feel luxurious. The details on the stroller really stand out, and the large basket is a must!
The accompanying car seat was an unexpected highlight, I usually think of carriers as basic, but its smaller (but still roomy) size and light weight puts it in a new class. I have a booster, a 5pt rear facing and a carrier in my smaller SUV and we had none of the normal issues! Everyone fit, and we had no problems getting in or out! Connecting the carrier to the stroller was a snap too! I will absolutely be recommending this duo to all my friends.

I was excited to try this travel system for both my 3 year old and my new baby. I do love the stroller and the luxe touches it offers like the vegan leather on the handlebar and premium fabrics. The extra large storage basket is amazing and it can hold everything you need for a day at the zoo or a trip to the park. I do wish the wheels were made of a rubber or something more premium than plastic, it just felt cheap....something that this stroller is not. I also wish this stroller could be more versatile as it was not as good on sandy paths and ended up being pretty bumpy.

While I loved the stroller I did not like the carseat that was included in this travel system and that is why I am rating this a 3 star. After taking the infant insert out, the foam backing was completely peaking through to where I could see all the way through the carseat. I thought this could be a mistake as it did not seem to offer nearly enough protection or padding for my baby but I believe this is how they all are. The fabric material was also cut very rough and almost looked like someone took scissors to it with a super raw edge showing. The carseat is lightweight but it just comes across as being less sturdy and premium than I would prefer for an infant car seat. The shade cover was flimsy and also a big inconvenience as it got in the way a lot when carrying the seat. I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have 2 kids, the oldest is 4.5 and on the shorter side like mom and dad. Our second is 7 weeks old and perfectly average baby size. I was able to use this stroller with both kids, and my oldest was able to push my youngest (supervised) thanks to the adjustable handle. He took great delight in this new way to help.

For my infant, using the infant seat was fine but not worthy of 5 stars. The infant seat requires adapters when used with the stroller but because of the open design of the basket they don't stay with the stroller and end up floating around your house or car if you're swapping between the two options. The shade for the infant seat feels flimsy and doesn't provide the best sun protection which seems odd given the privacy shade on the other seat option is so robust. As far as car installation, this would be right in the middle in terms of ease of use. I've installed 6 different car seats over time and this was not the hardest and not the easiest. It was easy to follow the directions and get a secure fit. I found it harder than expected to tighten the straps for the baby and that they weren't as smooth as some other seats I've used but it was far from a deal breaker. Overall I'd say this is a nice travel system with a premium look.

When I used the stroller with my 4 year old, they found the seat to be comfortable and the ride to be smooth enough given the fairly broken sidewalks in our neighborhood. The varied options for the shade were helpful on midday walks.

I wish the stroller came with two cup holders. Between me, my kids, and my partner, there are never fewer than two drinks on our outings. I also wish that it had a way to clip on the car seat adapters so they weren't floating around. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this travel system.

I am thoroughly impressed by the Tayla Travel System. Overall this system meets all my needs with the entire system. I will go over a couple things in this review. The primary being why I love this travel system over others.

This is very easy to use. As far as assembly it took me (yes by myself) less than 20 minutes to put it together. They have included detailed instructions that will be beneficial for you to use. I recommend reading these instructions.

I feel this all together is fairly lightweight. It maneuvers with ease. I can go from an even surface to a bumpier surface without struggling. Most travel systems I have used in the past seem to fight back when trying to change between surfaces. This one has by far the easiest and probably the smoothest transition between surfaces.

My favorite part of this entire system is the fact you can use one hand to pull it out and put it back up. We all know our hands get full all the time. So, having this where you can easily put it up with just one hand and then pull it out is just the greatest thing in my opinion.

I also want to point out the latch that helps secure the car seat in your vehicle. I like that it is easy to install the car seat into all my vehicles. I tried a car and an SUV. It fit comfortably into both. Another good thing to point out is this entire system folds really well. I feel it didn't take up a large amount of space. I still had space for all my other things too.

As far as shopping in a store. This maneuvers well through aisles. It rolls very easily. It also looks very sleek. I have to say, I am totally in love with this entire system. I live everything about it. It is hard to pick one thing I like the most, but I hope I did. Another plus was it was very easy to fit my daughter into this. It adjusted without much effort. I feel like this will protect my child while in the vehicle or simply riding in the stroller through the park. I received this through Stellar Review Panel at no cost to me.

Mom of 5 with 2 under 2 and this stroller is a dream! I received this product on a parent panel for testing with Stellar product review. Definitely my favorite stroller thus far, in comparison to the most recent stroller wr have been using (uppababy vista) I use this stroller when I am out and about and allow my 2 year old to walk with my newborn in the stroller. It is so easy to maneuver and steer, it had great traction and also doesn't just roll away. The wheels are super sturdy and the carseat clips in and out in one smooth motion and doesn't wake up the baby. The car seat is so secure and seems very comfortable for baby. It is definitely a high quality car seat and we feel safe with our newborn traveling.

The tayla travel system is the perfect compact traveling system. It is both a stroller and a car seat. I really love the ease of opening and closing the stroller, it can be done with one hand, which makes life so much easier. I also love the variety of positions if offers. As my baby grows, it will adjust to her needs. It was super easy to assemble and install. There are even color coded dots to make sure you have everything in the correct position. It also has green indicator light to show you have properly installed it. This is such a great added safety feature as some people don't use things properly. It gives you that added peace of mind that your baby is safe and you did everything right. It is super easy to attach to the stroller and you can face it either way, which I love. Sometimes my daughter wants to see me and not other people so it's important that it's a reversible seat stroller. The ride is extremely smooth, especially over bumps, my daughter can rest and I don't have to worry about waking her up. The overall design is modern and compact. I do like the 360 max shade privacy screen. It helps keep the sun and wind off my daughter. I also like the adjustable handle that you can set to your comfort. It also had a underneath storage basket that has plenty of room for essentials. I also like that you can remove the fabric and wash it, as strollers and car seats tend to get messy. I received this product through the Stellar Testing Panel. A good travel system is invaluable when you leave the house, and this system has a lot to offer. Right out of the box, the stroller was easy to assemble and everything clicked right into place in no time. The stroller itself looks sleek and clean. I love that it has an extra large canopy and a sun/bug shade that easily unzips from the front of the canopy to protect baby. It also reclines into multiple positions, although I was a little disappointed it couldn't go a bit flatter. I also really love that it includes a rain cover that fits perfectly and a cup holder. The seat itself is comfortable for my infant and toddler alike and the it feels smooth and easy to push. The brake is also extremely easy to use. One feature I wasn't crazy about was folding it. It was difficult to do with just one hand, but despite this, it didn't take long. The car seat is nice looking and lighter than other seats I've tried. However I found the handle a little awkward to hold and maneuver and i wish the canopy extended further. It's clear to me that Maxi Cosi carefully considered several important elements of a great stroller and car seat. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this system to a friend.

The Tayla Travel System is a sleek travel system that is easy to use and relatively easy to assemble. The all black frame and seat/carseat fabric with the leather handlebar and stroller seat bar are beautiful! I love that they thought to include a built in bug screen and a cup holder in addition to including a raincover. It is clear that the brakes system on this stroller has been very thoughtfully designed so that you press down on one brake pedal to engage the brake and then press down on the other brake pedal to release the break. Many stroller systems require you to flip the brake up from below to disengage the brake, which can be pretty uncomfortable if you' happen to be wearing open toe shoes. I found that this stroller handles well on uneven, urban sidewalks. My two year old really enjoys taking walks in this stroller and was especially excited that he can safely climb into the stroller on his own as there is a solid bar just below where the seat hangs over the frame. The carseat for this system is very lightweight, but equally cozy. My two month old helped me test out this portion of the system and he really seemed to enjoy the carseat. I found the base to be relatively easy to install. I was a little surprised that this carseat doesn't have a no rethread harness system, which I do prefer. It wasn't too challenging to adjust the straps to fit my little guy, but I think it will be a little more annoying to make adjustments as he continues to grow. Additionally, I love that the carseat in this system fits directly onto the frame, but keep in mind that you have to add the carseat attachments to the stroller system when you switch from using the stroller seat to using the carseat on the stroller frame. While it's not a huge deal, it is a bit of a hassle to have to keep up with an extra attachment in order to switch from using the stroller seat to using the carseat directly on the stroller frame. It handled our bumpy side walks with ease and the ability to clip the car seat into the stroller made it easy to let the baby continue a nap when we arrived at Point B from Point A. Let me start at the beginning, putting it together could not have been easier! Truly! No screws or husbands needed! Everything is minimal and straight forward.
The harnesses are easy to adjust and buckle on the bigger seat. And the stroller is BEAUTIFUL!
The car seat was not as easy to adjust the straps. It is lighter than our current but it doesn't to appear to have all the safety features I love with our current. I would still say it is safe, just not the first in line. However the compromise on the weight of it is the toss up.
My 20 month old loved riding in the stroller and seemed very comfortable. I then tested it with the car seat attachment and my 3.5 month old seemed to enjoy it as well.
It's a very smooth ride indoors while outdoors it's not bad, but not as smooth as our jogger which seems to have a better suspension. Extremely easy to maneuver, even with one hand. However some of the bumps in the sidewalk took a little more effort.
I was very disappointed that it could not be converted into a double! Given its high price point I think that should absolutely be a feature.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this travel system. It is as beautiful as it is functional.

I absolutely love the Maxi Cosi Tayla travel system. It's by far the best stroller I have ever used. First, it's all in one. It includes the infant car seat and adapter. I feel comfortable placing my daughter in this car seat. It's well padded and her little head and shoulders are secure in the seat. The car seat itself is very lightweight. I can put it in and out of my car with ease. It also matches the stroller perfectly. I love the neutral and modern style of the entire package. It's very high end. The car seat clicks with ease to the stroller with or without the toddler seat. It's very versatile! The stroller is amazing! The handle is made of a soft leather that molds perfectly to your hands. The wheels turn with ease and no fuss. The push is very easy, my 5 year old can push it by himself and not run into anything. It also works very well on concrete, asphalt, gravel, and grass. I had zero issues pushing my daughter in the stroller with a heavy diaper bag over the grass in the park. I'm very impressed that I could even do that without breaking a sweat. The toddler seat in the stroller is wonderful. It's adjustable, I can tilt it back to recline at an angle or completely back for a comfortable nap. The sun shield is very long. It covers my daughter completely from the sun and wind. It also has a net to cover her completely. One of my favorite features is that the stroller sits higher. I can check on my daughter and not have to squat down. Or if we are at the zoo. I can push her up the table for lunch and she can easily reach the table for snacks. With the seat being higher. I can store more things under her seat. I rolled up blankets and a bag of toys for our outings and they easily fit underneath. My daughter usually is fussy riding in a stroller, but not this one! She laughs and giggles when she's in it. I also love that I can switch the seat to face me or face the front wheels. I think that makes a huge difference in her comfort. I absolutely love this travel system! It's a godsend!! It's so light and very maneuverable. It's takes up less space in the car than a booster seat but is super safe. My son loves the material and how soft yet breathable it is. It's super easy to take apart and put back together for cleaning. It's super easy to attach the car seat to the stroller and remove it and storage is so easy and very compact when folded up which is great for my suv. The base is super simple to put in and take out of the vehicle and the carseat snaps into it safely and securely. I love it!

I love that the stroller seat is reversible and that you can attach the Maxi Cosi Mico XP car seat to it. The 360 MaxShade is my favorite feature because it extends all the way down to the bottom of the child seat, this will be convenient to use during the summer when there are mosquitoes and flies out. Folding the stroller can be a little tricky but you need to do it a few times to get the hang of it. I wouldn't really consider it an easy one hand fold, but more like a one hand and one foot fold. My only complaint is that it can't be used as a double stroller--it would be nice to be able to add a stroller board for my toddler.

The Maxi Cosi Mico XP car seat is lightweight and like the Maxi Cosi Tayla stroller, it has a premium and modern look to it, which I love. My favorite features of the car seat are that it was lightweight and easy to clean! I have a few complaints on the car seat, which is why I'm taking off a star. My first complaint is that the straps get twisted quite easily and it was a pain to untangle with a fussy baby in the car seat, it would be nice if there was something on the side to hold the buckle and straps in place. Secondly, it was difficult to tighten the harness, it wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be.

I am a mom of 4 and I have tried many strollers & car seats in my days. This travel system is very nice and has a lot of great features. The stroller is top notch. The design with the leather accents makes it really stand out style wise. Pushing and turning is so smooth, makes you want to push it all day. I like how the seat can face me or face out! My baby loved facing me! The brakes are something I haven't seen and I think it's a very cool feature to have two different pedals, one to lock and one to unlock. The adjustability of the handle is great, me at 5'1" and my husband at 6'3" could both comfortably push it. The seat was super comfortable and the buckle was very nice and user friendly. The rain shield was a nice edition and came in handy for us, one of my favorite features! The privacy shield is really cool, nice to have for naps on the go. There were two cons, one was I found the privacy shield took a long time to put away and it was hard to get zipped up. The second was how the stroller folded and unfolded, it's very tricky. The car seat fabric is very soft and squishy. It's so light compared to other seats I've used which is a huge plus! The handle was very comfortable to carry. It was very easy to pop onto the stroller! The base took the cake for me as it was incredibly easy to install, best feature for sure! I found three cons, one the canopy is rather floppy and the handle runs into it when you flip it up. Two, the chest clip is a little hard to clip and unclip. Third, the buttons to unclip from the stroller are in an odd spot and sort of hard to get to when reaching around to pick up the seat. Overall a great combo. Overall, this travel system if very good, unfortunately there are a few key challenges I had with the stroller that limited the overall rating I give it to a 4:

The Good:
- To begin, this thing is SOLID! So many strollers in general rock back and forth because they are not a solid design, this thing is a beast! While that is a good thing, sometimes solid products can provide a bumpy ride - not this stroller, check check for the included suspension!.
- This is the first stroller that has a handle bar that adjusts to high for my husband. He is 6'2" and usually the handlebar isn't long enough, this one would actually go too far if he wanted!
- The stroller seat has a wonderful sun shade AND bug net - rare!
- Lets talk folding, you can fold it with the seat on it. Fantastic!. Also, this stroller will stand its own when folder - very helpful when loading into the car and you need both hands to reorganize those shopping bags ladies!
- Oh, and don't get me started on the storage basket - this thing is massive, and very solid.
- This seat pad in the stroller is reversible depending on the weather (Warm versus cold) - nice touch for baby's bum!
- CUP HOLDER! it comes with one, no extra expense.
- the brake system is legit, you push down on one side to lock it and then down on the other to release the brake. Zero risk of scratching your shoe, or of hurting your toes if you're in sandals.
- Includes rain shield (usually you have to buy that separate)
- The user manual is very helpful

The Not So Good:
- The front tires are to be 'released' to allow them to swivel, this mechanism is very rigid making it difficult to release.
- Unfolding this stroller is tricky! You have to get used to it, once you do, its not terrible.
- The seat receiver / car seat adapters can be tricky at first. You get the hand of it, but not intuitive. Important to read the manual.
- To unhook the car seat from the stroller

The Tayla Travel System is so lightweight and makes taking my little one places such a breeze. The car seat is well made and looks comfy (My 3 month old seems to love it!). My favorite feature is all the different configurations you can do. I can go from the infant seat to the chair in seconds (which my 2 year old with zero patience always appreciates). Also, the leather bar detaches easily and looks high end.
The car seat was easy to install and clicks in quickly making getting in and out of the car a piece of cake.
Overall, I enjoyed the smooth ride this stroller has. There were a few roads that my 3 month old seemed to bounce around on a bit because it was so lightweight. And the storage underneath is life changing with two kids! I can fit everything I need and then some. I like the foot breaks compared to other strollers that have it on the handle. Very convenient!
I have a love/hate relationship with the full shade. It has amazing coverage and I'll use it all summer but it's kind of a pain to zip it back when you're not using it.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was able to test out the Tayla Travel System. Overall, this travel system is great quality with some luxury options included. The highlight for me is the car seat! It's easy to adjust, and I feel like my baby isn't squished down in his seat like some other options on the market. The carry seat is super light weight and the base is so easy to install I was shocked! Plus the seat is a little shorter than our old one so we have more room to move the passenger seat back. The car seat attaches straight to the stroller which is always a great feature. The stroller frame is light weight and folds up very flat for easy storage or travel. I love the intuitiveness of the Maxi Cosi products. They were SO easy to put together and interchange different parts to attach the stroller seat. There are a few changes I'd like to see, the handle hits the canopy of the car seat when you fold it back to get baby out, and putting the car seat into the stroller can be difficult and tedious, it can also be a little difficult to open and close the stroller at first, and my two year old is almost too big for the stroller seat. Overall, I still really like this travel system and I feel like my children are safe and secure in the car seat and the stroller. Plus the ease of use with two little ones is a huge plus!

I received the Tayla Travel System as a part of Stellar Product Testing Panel and really thought it was a functional and sophisticated looking stroller. First the car seat is excellent and my favorite part. I install a lot of car seats in my profession and I loved the safety ratings of this particular infant seat and how light it is! Wow, I don't think I've ever lifted a lighter carrier! It was super super easy to install with their LATCH system and leaves little to no room for user error. It clicks easily into the stroller although I always prefer a fully reclined bassinet option instead of car seat adaptors for strollers, so it wasn't what I was looking for as an infant stroller but if you want the ease of transferring car seat carrier to stroller, this was very simple. The stroller was very easy to put together right out of the box! A really classy looking stroller and the vegan leather fooled me! I used this stroller with my toddler and loved the harness system. It was unlike any I have seen and very easy to use. It also looked comfortable for her. The locking front wheels were one of my favorite features as I'm not always able to travel on pavement where I live in the foothills of Colorado. The recline feature on the toddler seat was excellent and very smooth with lots of options for comfortable nap times. The weight maximum seems pretty high for the stroller but I was curious about the height. My toddler is only 18 months and she appeared to be pretty tall for it but maybe kids don't grow as quickly as I think they will when it comes to height. Overall it's a very streamlined and elegant stroller. I just wish it had the ability to convert to double as single strollers don't really fit my lifestyle with a 3 month and 18 month old and I wish it had a bassinet or fully reclined option for infants. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

This travel system is simply beautiful. The attention paid to detail on every feature makes it a joy to use. I have a two month old and a three year old, so it's important to be able to easily transfer a sleeping or happy baby between the car and the stroller, and the Tayla is so easy to snap the Mico carseat in. The stroller is so easy to fold and maneuver. I live in a city with a lot of uneven sidewalks and the suspension is great for keeping a smooth ride over bumps. It's a great system but it really shines in the little details. The peekaboo window and 360 privacy shade are features that I wouldn't have thought of as necessary but use repeatedly on walks and store trips with a sleeping or overstimulated baby. The tightness indicators for installing the Mico carseat made me feel secure as we installed the base and it was a smooth, easy process. This travel system is perfect for being on-the-go as it's fast & easy to use. The things I loved: ease of car seat & base installation, ability to switch from car seat to stroller seat and change the direction they face easily, smooth stroller ride, stroller felt light to carry/push and stroller stands when folded. Things to consider: car seat tightening strap is bit stiff to tighten/loosen, stroller requires adapters for the seat and separate car seat adapters (all included, however thats 4 pieces to remember), stroller fold/unfold takes some getting used to. Unlike other strollers where all accessories are extra costs this system includes the rain cover and cupholder! The cupholder fits our wide bottles which is another plus. The other plus is that the car seat can be installed without the base using the seatbelt only which has worked for us in a pinch (think Uber rides, plane, etc). While our main use for the travel system so far has been stroller/car seat combo, our toddler has been using the basket under the stroller for her toys and snacks because it is super accessible which is a plus for this mama who doesn't have to get everything for her ;) The stroller has the MaxShade cover that covers the entire seat which will come in handy for mosquitoes and the Texas sun this summer! I will start by saying I really love this travel system. The seamless transfer of baby from car to stroller is a beautiful thing. The car seat fits well into our minivan, and baby fits snugly in the seat. I am awful with installing the car seat base, so my husband completed installation for me. He said it was easy to do and fit perfectly.
The stroller, however, is where this travel system really shines. It LOOKS luxury, the brown handles are really nice and I get compliments on this stroller all the time. This also drives/rides very smoothly. We are an outdoor family and I was worried about how the wheels would do with taking it outside all the time. I actually prefer these wheels to another stroller I have with air filled wheels. This truly surprised me! Baby loves being able to see me when we are walking, and it's a seamless transfer to allow my toddler to walk with me on weekends. We love having some alone time as well, and switching the stroller around is a breeze.
Having a rain guard come with the travel system was fantastic. I hate when you have to buy seperate pieces for baby things. I love that this came with everything we needed.

My one complaint is that the stroller doesn't come with a snack bar, or even a separate drink holder for baby. As I mentioned before, we are an outdoor family, so having the ability for my toddler or baby to be able to grab a drink without me digging in a diaper bag would be really nice. I tried to see if there was an option online to buy one, but I couldn't find anything. The basket below fits a lot, so i'm sure I will just stick drinks and snacks in there, however it would be nice for an older child to be able to grab and store their items in front of them.
I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. However, if I was given a chance all over again, I would have purchased this travel system from the beginning. You will love it!

I really liked the Tayla Travel System. The stroller felt very sturdy and maneuvered easier than other strollers I have tried in the past. The leather adjustable handle bar was super nice and was very comfortable, even for my husband who is 6'7". Finding a stroller tall enough for us without having to hunch over is hard to do! My toddler seemed comfortable in the seat and I loved how it could face outward or towards me. The shade was plenty big to keep out rays and the hidden bug shield was a huge plus! The infant car seat was the lightest carrier I've ever used, and the material was a very nice. My 6 week old didn't fuss as bad when we put him in the seat. The car seat was super easy to click in and out of the stroller and I really liked the push buttons to unlatch the seat from the stroller. I also loved the braking system, you just use your foot to lock on the right and release on the left. Super easy compared to lining up a rod to the wheels or using a handlebar to unlock it when your hands are full. The first couple of times folding and unfolding the stroller were kind of difficult. I had trouble getting the stroller open, but I got better at it within a couple of tries. I do wish the basket underneath was a tad larger, and I wish you could make this a double with both the infant and toddler seat, but if I only had one kid, this would be perfect. My favorite feature was that the stroller stands up without falling over!! I don't think I've ever owned a stroller that doesn't tip over after it is folded. Overall, it's a great system that looks nice, works great, and the quality seems like it is going to last a very long time. I definitely recommend it!

When I received the Tesla Travel System from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I pretty much immediately put my other stroller system into retirement. The entire system was really simple to assemble, and my husband kept noting the quality as we put it together. My 8 month old loves that he sits higher up in this stroller than in other models we've tried and we've also enjoyed having him closer to adult eye level when out for a stroll. The wheels glide and turn really smoothly, but are also easy to lock. We love the storage underneath the system, the retractable shade option, and how easily the whole system collapses for storage. We also really enjoy the different levels of recline the seat allows, as well the option to face forwards or backwards. The interchangeable car seat is also fantastic. I only wish we'd had it when my baby was tiny! It would have made going for walks with him then much easier. All in all my husband and I both really love the system. I can't say enough good things about it.

As a mother of two kiddos strollers are extremely important. This stroller is great because I can open and close it with one hand. It's smooth and both my 2 year old and 10 week old liked to ride in it. The 360 shade is unbeatable and a great selling point.
The car seat is great too. Super soft and can be cleaned easily. The buttons and ease of it are a little more difficult. I can't just look at it and figure it out. The base is also larger than the car seat I currently use.

I was thrilled to test the Tayla Travel System for the Stellar Product Testing Panel because I had already seen the product in public, and I was in need of a new stroller and carseat combo for my fifth child. My biggest criteria for a stroller is ease of use, particularly opening and closing it. The Tayla stroller was easy to open and close with one hand coordinated with one foot! When I first set up the stroller, I tested my intuition by trying to assemble the pieces without the manual (which is clear and simple to read), and I was super impressed with the color-coded dots to indicate the correct position for the adaptors on the stroller. Similarly, the easy instructions on the carseat base eliminated the need for the paper manual. This "test" helps me determine how easy the system will work for my husband (who doesn't ever read manuals) or grandparents who are now 30 year out of date with baby gear! The Tayla system would definitely be easy for both hubby and grandparents. Once set up, the travel system worked flawlessly with both carseat and seat attachment. I loved the variety of positions, which works well as my baby grows. He currently loves chewing on the handlebar, which makes me wonder if they could make this the rubbery material of chew toys? I think my favorite feature is the 360 MaxShade privacy screen! It provides amazing coverage, blocks both sun and bugs, and cuts some wind. No more draping blankets that get blown about! One other suggestion to make this the best stroller on the market--could there be some kind of sleeve or pocket on the back or under the basket for the rain shield and adaptors? I just picture myself losing them and not having them when I really need them! Other than that, the Tayla Travel System earns 5 stars from me and my baby!

Stroller: I loved the height of this stroller. It sits higher off the ground than your typical stroller, making it easier to take baby in and out and get things out of the extra large basket. Not only that, the telescopic handlebar extends and retracts to a comfortable position for all members of my family, including my two year old who loves to help push her baby brother. As a tall mommy (5'11") on my second baby my back appreciates these features.
The stroller seat is lightweight, sturdy, and has my favorite feature of the setup: the MaxShade. My herculean baby did not kick it loose, and it added some security from bugs when walking at dusk.  
Overall the ride is smooth, but when walking on uneven sidewalks, be mindful of creases. I would hit one of those edges and come to an abrupt halt if I was not prepared. When pushing on a sandy walking trail, the all-wheel suspension and SmoothRide tire technology kept my little guy comfortable.
Collapsing the stroller can be a little awkward because the handle can extend/ retract in the middle of the "one-handed" process. Once you know about it, you can anticipate it and it is easier to deal with but still annoying.
Lastly, the brakes on the stroller are fantastic. I really like the two pedal system as opposed to one that you use to lock and unlock. After locking it, I yanked and tugged on the thing to see how well it would stick and I was very impressed.   

Car seat: My baby very much enjoys the car seat. The plush cushioning is a major improvement for him. The handle is somewhat awkward as it is not just a simple bar handle, but rather more ergonomic. It is easier to carry, but harder to navigate when putting in the car, especially with another car seat next to it. The car seat base is the easiest I have ever installed.

Together :When putting the car seat in the stroller, it is seamless. The adapters align easily and feel stable.

I use this stroller for my 2-year-old and with the car seat for my 1 month old and both love it. My 2-year-old loves facing out to check out the world as we stroll. The things I love: there's plenty of room in the underneath storage basket for anything you need, and even full, the ride is still smooth; the stroller is lightweight, making it easy to cart around or throw in your trunk when folded; it stays upright when folded easy for storage or while placing outside my trunk; folding/unfolding is incredibly easy and not awkward like other strollers; the leather accents are gorgeous; the fabric and padding are soft, plush, and easily removable and washable - a necessity with a toddler always snacking on the go. Using the car seat in the stroller is simple. The only con is that you need adaptors to hook the car seat in, frustrating if you switch between using it with the car seat and toddler seat often, but the car seat drops into and pulls out of the stroller frame easily. The biggest drawbacks are the lack of child tray/ cup holder and that it can't convert to a double stroller.
Car seat installation is a breeze, I love the green/red leveling mechanism and that it is on the top of the base, making it easy to see and reassuring that I'm doing it correctly. Both the LATCH system and lap belt installation are simple to use. After installation, the best thing about this car seat is that it is so light. Carrying it around, or lifting it in and out of the stroller are easy with the baby. While the canopy is attractive and expensive looking, it's flimsy, a pain to use, never seems to stay in place, and falls off the back when not in use. Overall, a gorgeous car seat that feels safe, and minus these drawbacks, is very easy to use.

The Tayla travel system is super modern and stylish! I love the faux leather trimming, It really helps the stroller stand out! The functionality of the Tayla is smooth, even when going through tough terrain and those bumps every store has in front of their entrances now a days. I like that I can make the handle short or long depending on my needs. The over installation was super easy! The green indicator that informs us of its proper installation made it super easy and comforting. The Tayla travel system has been one of my go to. Especially when dealing with such small spaces while I'm out and about running errands. It being compact and such a perfect size/stylish is one of my favorite things about it. Which is hard to find, it's either one or the other! And with the Tayla we get both! I was lucky to get the chance to try and review the Tayla travel system thanks to the stellar parent panel! My baby is now able to be comfy and travel in style.

Love how sturdy the frame is and the clean lines! It checks all the boxes for me: spacious easy access stroller basket, full coverage shades on both the infant car seat and stroller seat, includes the adapters for the infant seat and separate stroller seat. Other brands require you to purchase adapters, car seat and stroller seats separately so this product is priced quite reasonably. Since I am mainly using the infant seat/frame combo, I like that the stroller seat is separate to keep things lighter. I found the car seat was easy to install into the car base for a quick in and out. I do find the shoulder straps on the infant seat are a little more difficult to cinch down compared to other brands' seats, but I am able to get them nice and tight. The seat is quick and easy to attach to the stroller with the 2nd adapter set plugging into the first. My baby was much more content and cried less frequently in this seat compared to others. His head was in a comfortable position with chin at a good angle. This system is gorgeous and functional. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Tayla travel system is a good quality stroller and car seat. It is easy to remove the car seat from the car and snap it into the stroller. Initially the stroller was a little difficult to fold and unfold, but that improved with continued use. The stroller has a very smooth ride, and the leather on the handle is beautiful. The handle is easy to adjust, which accommodates both myself (5'6") and my husband (6'4"). I use the stroller mostly for city walking on paved surfaces, and ran into no issues navigating occasional bumps here and there. Using the stroller on a dirt road with rocks did not go as well, due to a lack in shock absorbing capability. So if you plan to use for city walking, you shouldn't have any issues.

One of the features I love is the braking system. There is a pedal to engage the brake, and a separate pedal to release the brake. Both pedals are pressed downward, instead of having to use a toe to lift up to disengage. It seems much easier to use and made stopping and going easy and seamless.

The car seat base was simple to install. The base is sturdy, with straightforward instructions printed directly on it. The car seat is fairly light weight and easy to carry. The canopy allows for good air ventilation and is a soft fabric, but when the canopy is pulled up, there is a piece of plastic that rubs directly on the back of my hand. It is uncomfortable enough that I have to put the canopy partially down while carrying the car seat.

I received this travel system as part of the Stellar Product Testing program and have really enjoyed getting to use it. First of all I love the look of the overall travel system. The stroller is nice with the all black color with brown leather accents. The car seat also looks nice however I don't love how the fabric around the shoulder straps isn't sewn down totally.

Getting the stroller put together was super easy and the car seat snaps right into the adapters. It took me a little bit to get used to opening and collapsing the stroller but once I did it become super easy to do. Installing the car seat base was also really easy (with the steps printed on the base itself) however, I did have to mess around with it a bit and ended up using the car belt rather than the anchor hooks to get the right fit and make sure it was safe.

My favorite part of the whole system is the stroller and how easy it is to push and maneuver. I can steer with one hand so easily. The car seat is super light which makes carrying it and loading in and out of car simple. The straps are a little hard to pull to loosen and pull to tighten, but I think that's just because it's new since it's slowly getting easier with each use.

Overall I have loved this travel system and would highly recommend. The only down side is that it can't expand to a double stroller if that's something you need (that I know of) but otherwise it has been really great.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system. As a mom with multiple strollers and high dollar travel sets, this one takes the cake. The stroller is luxurious in the simple fact it faces forward/backward, can attach the infant seat, and you can do everything one handed! My infant (8 months) loved both forward and rear facing and I liked the option to turn him towards me when he would get fussy. My 2 year old loved the forward face and he could easily get in and out without my help (big win)! The leather bar detached from both sides making it easy for him and the small step at the base of the seat allowed him to do it all on his own.
My favorite feature, which is a tie with the detaching leather bar, is probably the full shade that comes down for full protection. In the summer I'll use this all the time to keep bugs away from my infant and as a sun block if it's a little too bright. My only complaint is that I wish this shade zipped up a little easier but overall it's not terrible.
The car seat was easy to install and basically all the directions are on the bass which makes it easy if another family member has to do it. I like specific step by step instructions and Maxi Cosi does that. Taking the infant seat from the vehicle to the stroller is such a breeze. I wish everything with infants was that easy!
The ride is so smooth and my infant & toddler both wanted to ride at the same time. Maybe Maxi Cosi needs a side attachment for my toddler so it isn't always a fight on who gets to ride in the comfy stroller :) 10/10 I would recommend this stroller travel system. Another great feature I haven't seen on other strollers is the different lock/unlock tabs by the wheels. So easy and even color coded so you don't forget! Being a mom with multiples you can't put a price on something that is safe and easy to use.
