Janod Magnetic USA Map

This puzzle is made so well — wood board with magnetic-backed wood pieces. It is strong and sturdy and beautiful. Each state is colorfully designed and color-coded as well as labeled with the state name to match the board for ease of putting together. Great way for kids to learn the states. My 4-year-old granddaughter was able to put it together almost entirely alone (only needed help with the smaller east coast states as they are are a bit harder for small fingers). She remarked which states she’d been to and thoroughly enjoyed using it. I had a moment of mild panic when she first wiped all the pieces off at once, thinking she’d now walk away leaving me to reassemble it, but then proceeded to sit there and piece by piece study each one, find the corresponding spot where it belonged, and put it all back together. Great item and reasonably priced.

We got this for our 3-year-old so that he can start learning states, capitals, and geographic locations. He will definitely have to grow into it a bit, but in the meantime we are using it to show him where we live and the states he has been to.

I will be returning to purchase the magnetic world map by Janod in the future.
