Description

Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb)**. It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit®, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight™ LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco® ProtectPlus Engineered™ to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

  • **To continue to meet industry standards, we have increased the highback booster weight minimum from 30 to 40 lb

Recommended Use

Rear-Facing Harness: 4-50 lb, head must be at least 1" below handle; Forward-Facing Harness: 22-65 lb, up to 49"; Highback Booster: 40-100 lb, 43-57", at least 4 years old

STOP using this child restraint and throw it away 10 years after the date of manufacture

Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. Then children should ride forward-facing, using the built-in harness system for as long as possible until they reach the maximum forward-facing weight or height for their car seat. At that point, children should ride in a belt-positioning booster seat. A booster is no longer needed once the vehicle seat belt fits properly, typically when they reach 4 feet 9 inches tall and are between ages 8-12. Be sure to check your local and state laws, as well as AAP and NHTSA recommendations, for car seat usage.*

Secondary Car Seat
August 5, 2024
Bought as a secondary car seat for grandparents vehicle. A bit difficult to get a tight install, but once you do, this is a decent seat. Fabrics feel a bit cheap, but does the job.

Good seat for big kids

Good seat for extended rear-facing. It does have a large footprint in grandma’s Honda Accord. Hoping it will grow with child as a versatile seat for backup caregiver for years

Fits well in my vehicle
February 24, 2024
I was struggling to find a car seat that comfortably fit into my 2018 ford escape and my husbands f150 as he doesn't have a full back seat and this is what I had decided on and it seems to fit great without the passenger seat being unusable, our son is comfortable, and it was very easy to install. I will say that the tether is sometimes difficult to tighten fully but it just takes longer than I was used to with my infant seat.
Pros
  • doesn't take up too much space in the backseat or make my passenger seat unusable and is easy to install
Best Uses
  • ford escape and f150
Cons
  • sometimes difficult to tighten the harness

Great carseat
August 9, 2023
Easy to install and easy for grandma to use. Got this particularly so it would be easier for her to pull the straps tight, and it is super easy. The cupholders are great because they're within reach for the kiddo. The only drawback is that it's quite large in her Honda Fit and if the front seat isn't pretty far forward it touches the back of the seat. Great value!
