Cybex Balios S Stroller 2018 Lavastone Black

We bought this last year for our baby. We were looking for a full size stroller but on the smaller/lighter end, and this one was what we ended up buying after a lot of surveying.

The materials used for this stroller are in high quality. It is also well suspended and easy to collapse (just need some practice initially) The basket underneath is spacious. It also looks very stylish!

The only downside though, is its weight. I know 24.7 lb is already considered on the light end for full size strollers, but it is still quite heavy. (for comparison, uppababy cruz is only 21.5 lb)

We purchased this stroller a year ago for our toddler and could not be more pleased. The build quality is impressive and we love the higher height of the seat, allowing for more clearance underneath for storage as well as allowing it to double as a high chair in restaurants. This was especially useful in several occasions where there was either no high chair available or space was limited for us to park our stroller away. The suspension/shocks are great and the ride is very smooth. The sleek design and optional accessories such as the snack tray and kid board are also what sealed the deal for us when we were comparing strollers to purchase.

I definitely love this stroller, is so comfortable and the capony is the best ever, only little complain is a little heavy to holding after you folded.

we used the stroller from day 5 (with bassinet) till now and consider it is the best choice.

We purchased this stroller after seeing it in person in Buy Buy Baby and it seamed roomy and well made. What we did not realize is how hard it is to fold it. It took me giving a call to Cyber USA to learn how to fold and even after that every time I need to put the stroller to my car it is a struggle, because of the way it folds. I like the fabric and the large canopy, also I like how it becomes almost flat for kid to lay down.
Wheels are very good on gravel or even road. Basket is large enough for a lot of bags and other items you would need during outings.

I love the color and the stroller is light easy to close and fits anywhere

I’ve only used the frame so far with the cybex car seat and it looks beautiful. One negative is that I lost the cup it came with. But that has nothing to do with the sturdiness of this stroller. I should add that sometimes the stroller doesn’t close in the first try.

I was going to wait for the 2019 version but got this one for the discount. This stroller embrace almost all features I want ( except all season seat) at such a reasonable price.

I like the way it looks very stylish and chic, however i was not so pleased with the fabrics and the color. The fabrics is not as high end as I’d expect for a $400 stroller and the color is not as dark as in the photo description. Also I’m not sure if it is the suspension or the stroller is very flimsy? I don’t believe it would go well on cobblestone roads or rocky terrain. The chassis seems wobbly... I’ve used an uppababy before so going to this was kind of disappointing. This is only a review on the product not Albee, i love this online store! I had seen reviews on this and no one mentions the sturdy ness of the stroller?

Excellent stroller, German design, includes a rain cover and parent cup holder. It features a near flat recline which makes it suitable for infants. The high back of the chair I assume would accommodate a taller child and ensure a prolonged use. Albee baby offered the best price on the market at the time we purchased this stroller and the delivery was very fast, the item arrived in perfect condition.

I just bought the Balios S for my baby to be born. I have hesitate between balios M and S because M has a very attractive discout. Finaly, I bought the S. The maximum load of Balios M and S are both about 37 lbs,and the stroller’s weight are 30lbs. But the body volume is about 10% smaller than M. BALIOS S is used by newborns up to 4 years old.
And I can collect stroller by 2steps with one hand, very convenient.
I think it is deserves recommendation. very stable for baby in any road condition.
