A Favorite Stroller
June 14, 2024
This is the second B Lively Britax stroller for my grandkids. My daughter in law likes it and it is sturdy and adapts to infant carrier or upright / lay down for larger infants and toddlers. In the upright sitting position, however you may have to add a bungee cord or other means to better support the back so that child does not slump down.

Great Price and Maneuverability
August 21, 2023
This stroller is great for the price. I have had a Chicco stroller and a City Mini before, and this is comparable to the City in regards to ease, weight, and maneuverability while less in price. It clicks and folds easily. The Chicco was super heavy. In regards to cons, I do wish it came with a snack tray and the basket below is a little small.
Pros
  • weight
  • maneuverability
  • easy fold and unfold
  • fits britax carseats
  • nice suncover shade
  • good height so won't hurt your back
Cons
  • snack tray has to be purchased separately
  • basket underneath is small

Great and reliable stroller
June 4, 2023
One of my favorite strollers I’ve had for my kids. I’m sad I found this so late into our last kid. My son is almost 3 and is special needs and unable to walk at the moment. I was looking for a stroller that he could continue to grow with and this one is perfect! I will be able to use this for years to come.

Best stroller ever.

Oh. My. Gosh. I had the Britax infant car seat and HATED transferring my son to a pram style stroller. I needed this. Setup was a breeze and folding of this stroller is amazing. One handed!! So glad I found the dove color on sale. It matched my B Safe Gen2 car seat very well. I love how snug the canopy is in marriage to my car seat canopy. Keeps the wind and Sun and rain off of his little face. I’d recommend this to anyone.

Great Stroller
September 6, 2022
The Britax B-Lively is an upgrade from the previous stroller that we owned from Britax which was the B-Agile. The B-Agile that we own is 10 years old, so we wanted to get a new stroller for our newest addition to our family. We knew we wanted to go with Britax because it is a quality brand that lasts for a very long time. We have both car seats and a stroller from Britax. All lasting up to 10 years. Definitely worth the money. The B-Lively is easy to fold open and close which is a huge plus for a mama. It is pretty lightweight which is a huge plus for a c-section mama. This version is an upgrade from the B-Agile in that there are more pockets, a larger basket underneath, and the wheels designed better for a smoother ride. We are happy with our purchase and glad to be longtime Britax customers.
Pros
  • Compact
  • Easy to fold open and close
  • Smooth ride
  • Bigger Pockets & basket
Best Uses
  • Everyday use and a good walking stroller. Not for running/jogging.

I have this stroller for my grandson and LOVE it! The red was on sale and I'm SO glad I chose it - It's a really nice, little bit darker red, and it's so fun! My little Pomeranian also loves to ride underneath, in the storage area!

Pretty but poor quality
June 18, 2021
Was super excited get this stroller, but after 2 months of using it (on flat, well maintained sidewalks) the wheel are coming apart. It also has pulled to one side since the day I opened the box, so you definitely have to have 2 hands on the stroller at all times to keep control of it.

Too reclined and slanted baby
January 23, 2021
I want to love this stroller. I love so many of the features but it just leaves me disappointed. I feel like the seat doesn't sit up straight enough. Even at its highest setting my baby seems too reclined and she is 8 months now. She has also always leaned to the left side in the stroller. It's hard to adjust the seat recline setting and keep the back level. I really loved this when we were using the car seat attached as a travel system.

Good but not great
August 21, 2020
Well made, quality materials with a few issues.
Pros: lightweight, compact fold, easy to open, large shade canopy. Comfortable seat.
Cons:
The under storage basket is small and hard to access.
The buckle is difficult to open/close. It's tough to snap it close.
No parent or child tray. Would love a cup holder.
The mechanism to lower and raise the seat back is a pain.

Good mid-range stroller
November 10, 2018
As a mom of three kids under 3, I have spent way too much time and effort searching for the "perfect" stroller. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel, I was able to review the Britax b-lively stroller. It is my first 3 wheeled stroller and I was surprised by how maneuverable it was, it was easy to push and handled sidewalk "popping" well. The stroller worked well with both my 3 year old toddler ("I like this stroller mommy") and my 10 month old infant - the straps in the back made it easy to quickly change the recline of the stroller. Additional pros for me were: the massive sun shade with an easy to use ventilation/spy window and a built in organizer pocket with a zipper compartment and room for 2 baby bottle (not a coffee cup though!). The stroller can be turned into a travel system as it comes with britax infant car seat adapters. Unfortunately I already own another brand of car seat and there is no compatibility - something to keep in mind if you already own a different brand of car seat. The two best features of the stroller are the fold - an EASY, TRUE one hand fold , also easy to open - and the front basket access. There are some downsides to the stroller. I wish that the stroller bar was adjustable - I am 4'10" and my husband is 6'3" so having a stroller handle that moves is key! The stroller also does not come with a rain cover or a snack tray - a common thing that stroller companies do that just bugs me.

An Amazing Modern Stroller!
November 8, 2018
The Britax B-Lively stroller is amazing! Since I am alone most of the time with my child I needed a stroller that wasn't too bulky or too small. This stroller was perfect for me! The over all design of the stroller is definitely modern and it is a really cute red stroller. The set up was incredibly easy, it literally took less than 5 minutes to attach the pieces and know how to lower the seat to recline. I can see myself using this stoller for years since it appears to be durable and strong no matter where I am using it. I have taken this stroller to the zoo many times and it was smooth sailing, I didn't feel any bumps or the stoller shake roughly which was great!? My daughter tends to fall asleep fast in strollers so to be able to recline her seat with very little difficulty gives me peace of mind that she can nap without feeling uncomfortable. The canopy on the stroller has excellent coverage, it blocks the sun from bothering my daughters eyes and it also go down further than on other strollers I have used. The one-hand fold is something new to me since I've never owned a stroller like this, so it did take a bit for me to get familiar with it, but I can honestly say that I love how I can hold my child in one arm and use my other arm to fold out the stroller! I do wish the basket was a bit bigger but it definitely works! The front access panel is amazing when I fill the basket too much I just pop open the panel and can easily get what I needed out, it is very convenient and a great addition to any stroller. The only downside to this stoller was that it did not have a cup holder for my child, this is sold separately, which is fine since I really do love the B-Lively stroller but I really do wish it was included. It was really important to me to register for a stroller and car seat so I chose a travel system since I figured I could save some money as well as save myself from stressing out too much, as any mom would understand! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Stroller!!
Pros
  • Easy set up
  • Compact design
  • Seat recline
  • Large canopy

  • No cup holder for child

Perfect Weekend Stroller
November 8, 2018
This stroller is AMAZING thank you weeSpringParent Panel for sending me this product to test!!! My daughter is comfortable, the height of the handle is perfect, the pouch on the back is just right for keys, cups, my phone and other important things without the bulkiness of the typical tray. The stroller was easy to assemble and even easier to open and close, the ability to use one hand is necessary as a mom of multiples. We used this stroller while shopping at the outlet mall, one of the most convenient features by far is the ability to access the lower basket from the front!

Smooth Ride
November 1, 2018
We have couple of strollers for different uses and the Britax B-Lively is our new favorite for long outings. It has good suspension for a smooth ride, even on a trail, or for a young baby when using it as part of a travel system - it comes with adapters for a compatible infant car seat. It is sturdy, so I expect it last for a long time. The recline is literally a cinch to use, but it does not go straight up or flat back. The shade goes pretty far forward, for good sun protection, and has a mesh peeking window. The basket is large and can be accessed from the back and the front, through a panel under the little's legs. There is also storage for parent essentials, like a phone and water bottle, near the soft handle bar. It does not come with a child tray, but one can be purchased separately. It has an easy one-handed fold and is sort of self-standing - it has to lean to one side, but not against a wall. All of these features together make it very comfortable for my toddler and convenient for me, not to mentioned it looks high end and I love the red color. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this stroller.

City Kid Loves B-Lively!
October 31, 2018
We received the Britax B-Lively as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. We're a little stroller obsess over here and now have multiple strollers for different uses, so I feel very confident in saying we loved the B-Lively! We live in a big city and the challenges of having a little one and needing a stroller are pretty specific. We need something that is sturdy enough to take on city streets, narrow enough to navigate small shops, and also quick folding to get onto the subway or into cars. The B-Lively did all this and more! We even took it "off-roaring" into the park down some gravel paths. The canopy is nice and large to protect from the sun, and there is a small but well sized basket underneath. I appreciated that the basket was accesible from both the front and back of the stroller. It made shopping and unloading from the stroller quick and easy. I also love how efficiently the B-Lively folds up and that there is basically a handle to help carry it. This was a huge help in navigating stairs, as I could carry it one handed. Our kiddo had already outgrown the infant car seat but that was a big factor in choosing a stroller for us. The fact that the B-Lively has. Car seat adaptors for Britax car seats is a huge bonus in my opinion. I think the B-Lively is an excellent option for parents who want a travel system option that is sturdy and compact, can navigate many different terrains, has a good one handed fold, and has a small overall footprint for storage. Most importantly, my kiddo was comfortable and cozy in its spacious seat!

Love this stroller, awesome value!
October 30, 2018
I love this stroller, especially for the price. I have a very large stroller and a more simple umbrella stroller, and the Britax B-Lively Stroller feels like the perfect middle ground between the two. It folds up SO easily and doesn't take up a lot of room in my trunk or in the garage, yet still has awesome, easy access storage. Seriously, to fold it you press a button and pull a strap -- totally possible to do one-handed while making sure your toddler doesn't run into traffic! But... my favorite feature of this stroller is how smooth the ride is - it feels like the wheels have shock absorbers. Walking around our neighborhood, there are lots of cracks and bumps in the pavement and sidewalk, and despite this the ride is still smooth and my son is extra comfy in his seat. My other favorite thing is that I can steer with one hand incredibly easily, so I can have coffee in one hand and push with the other. Although we now have three strollers (the largest of which was incredibly expensive), I find myself reaching for the Britax B-Lively Stroller the most often. I'm so happy I'll be able to use it for a long time with our son AND it'll be perfect for baby #2 as well (that seat recline is A+ and I love that I can use it with an infant car seat!!). Thank you SO much to the weeSpring Parent Panel for this stroller! It has made our daily life that much easier.

So easy to fold!
October 30, 2018
I love the super easy one-handed fold for the Britax B-Lively stroller. This is particularly helpful as I can hold my 9-month son while still breaking down and putting away the stroller with one hand. It is great to keep in the car for running errands--more sturdy and durable than an umbrella stroller, but it still folds up small and flat. It is roughly the same size as the Uppababy Cruz when it is folded and just as easy to maneuver. Nice sized storage basket and good canopy cover as well. Materials for the B-lively feel a little lighter and less luxurious, but considering it is a third of the price of the Cruz, I am very happy with the quality. Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for the opportunity to review this product.

Great stroller!
October 30, 2018
I was so happy to get the Britax B-Lively stroller! This stroller is great. It steers very well even if I need to do it one handed. I have pushed a 37 lb 5 year old in it when my baby didn't want to ride and even she fits great in it. My 24 lb 15 month old also fits great and we use the stroller primarily for him.
I know I'll be able to use it for years to come with him because of the 55 lb weight limit and it seems very durable.
I love the one-hand-fold! It is so easy to fold up, especially when you're waiting for public transportation and you need to fold it very quickly. The only problem is I wish it would stand alone on the ground when folded. Sometimes it does but it's always teetering and then falling. It got a little scratched up on the front because of this. If you're using it primarily in your own car or just strolling your neighborhood this probably wouldn't be an issue for you. We travel a lot with our strollers on public transportation so this is important to me.
The basket is also not my favorite. I love that it has the front access panel because this is the only way I can fit anything in it! You can forget about putting a diaper bag or a toddler backpack in the basket from the back because it will not work. I usually just wear our diaper bag the whole time when I use this stroller. However, the basket will hold a lot of you put it in through the front access panel, just not larger bags. It is a shame, though, because the basket is very large, if the seat were up higher you could fit larger bags. Again, if you're not using public transportation and can just go back out to your car to get more items or just walking around the neighborhood then this will not be a problem for you.
I love that both of the brakes work by just stepping on one side, this is very convenient! I also like how the seat is easy to recline and put back up by pulling the straps at the back.
Overall, this is an awesome stroller that is very sturdy and maneuvers very well and I would definitely recommend it!

Lot's of good features
October 30, 2018
The Britex B-Lively stroller is good for its intended purposes. It's not as flimsy as an umbrella stroller but also not as robust as a true jogging stroller. It's got a few bells and whistles but some minor tweaks would take it from mediocre to great!

The construction and materials of this stroller seems to be durable and should last for multiple children. This stroller is part of the travel system. I think this is especially convenient when registering for a stroller/infant car seat! The travel system makes traveling so much easier with a an infant!

With the medium size wheels and the front ones swiveling abilities, maneuvering this stroller is simple and intuitive. The seat itself is padded and has wide comfortable straps that are easy to adjust to fit your child. The sunshade is quite large and has a non-standard peek-a-boo window that I like (no Velcro to wake a sleeping baby!). The seat reclines to near horizontal. My child no longer naps in a stroller so he preferred sitting upright. There's a front panel with a zippered pocket and two slots (they fit a standard water bottle mich like a cup holder). I like to stow my phone, keys, and wallet in the zippered pocket and a water bottle/sippy cup in the slots. Just be careful not to overfill the zippered pocket as this will make using the slots unusable. I still prefer a three dimensional cup holder to single-handedly place my container into. The brake is located at the bottom right and is easy/intuitive to use. While the handle bar has lots of good cushion, it doesn't adjust. It is comfortable for me but not for my taller husband (I'm 5'2" and he's 5'10"). The bottom basket is quite large. However, the material doesn't stretch enough along the sides to make space for a large item that would utherwise fit. Getting items in and out of the basket can be difficult. Lastly, to fold the stroller, I first push the button on the side then pull up on the strap at the seat. It's very easy! Once folded, the stroller is lighter and more compact to a similar stroller I've had before.

Ultimately this is great stroller for it's price point and I'd recommend it to a friend as part of their travel system.

Perfect stroller for the parent on the go!
October 29, 2018
The Britax B-Lively Stroller is a great lightweight stroller! But, dont let the fact that its lightweight make you think it's not sturdy. I am very impressed with the construction of this stroller and the ease of using it. We are a family that is always on the go and the Britax B-Lively Stroller fits easily in the back of either of our vehicles, it is lightweight to carry, and rolls with ease. Oh, and the one handed fold makes it so simple to fold it up when your hands are full! This stroller is definately one that will be with our family for years to come.

Great Stroller for the City
October 29, 2018
This is a great stroller for maneuvering through a pedestrian friendly city like New York, NY.

We tried out the stroller first on a rainy day and the large wheels went through all the puddles with ease. The super large canopy was a life saver as we had recently left our rain guard in rental car. Oops! I can attest that the canopy is waterproof and only my daughter's feet got a little damp.

I took the stroller on the bus, and it is super easy to close and open. This is key as you stand on the sidewalk in NYC holding a child and all your stuff! The ride is super smooth over all those sidewalk bumps. Also it's very easy to push and steer with just one hand!

The seat is quite roomy so I'm sure my daughter can use it until she's old enough to go without a stroller.

I did not try out the travel system aspect of the stroller as we do not own a car and ended up registering for a convertible car seat since we would not use it that much.

My daughter is 18 months so she's climbing now. She climbed into the stroller as I was setting it up and sat right down! This a wonderful bonus as I'm currently 6 months pregnant with #2 and the less I have to pickup the better. Setting up the stroller was pretty quick even with the help of the 18 month old.

The storage area is adequate for a few small things. I only used it from the sides as generally my daughter was asleep so the seat was all the way down.

I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel so I do have 2 other strollers. Here are a few comparisons. The canopy is by far the biggest which is great on sunny (okay and rainy) days. The storage pockets near the handle were very helpful and even held my coffee cup. I have found that other cup holders may pop off the lid if the cup is not the right size! Since the B-Lively has fabric slots, this was not an issue. The seat belt is a little harder to close, but I found pushing in on the release and then pushing in the clasp made it easier. The brake was much easier to use and to get to as it is on the right wheel.

The only nit-picky thing I miss from my other stroller is a little flap around the center strap of the harness. I feel like this strap makes the harness more comfortable.

I do feel this stroller is a bit more durable which is a must in the hard conditions of the big city!

Must Have Baby Registry Item!
October 29, 2018
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with the Britax B-Lively Stroller! This is definitely a stroller we can incorporate into our daily activities and will continue to use in the future! I'm a new mom with a one-year old and plan on expanding our family in the near future. I am all for having products that are simple but also provide me with the must-haves to keep me organized and on-the-go.

This stroller surprised me when we received it in the mail. It was more compact than I expected, and it was really easy to put together. The only difficulty I had was putting on the shade as the brackets were a little hard to maneuver. It was also incredible easy to take apart, if needed.

The shade was a lot larger than our first stroller, and I love that it covers my daughter entirely so I'm not worried about her legs getting too much sun. Another great feature is the reclining seat. It is easy to use and allows us to lower the back of the stroller without disturbing our daughter if she falls asleep while on a walk or running errands. The one-hand fold is another must, especially when you're juggling multiple things/people at once. It did take me a try or two to make sure I pushed the release button on the side of the stroller, but that's all it takes to get the stroller packed away.

The Britax B-Lively is lighter than our first stroller; however, I wish it could have been made to be a bit lighter. It's still heavy when it comes to lifting the stroller into the back of our cars. There is plenty of storage though. The bottom basket is easily accessible from the front access panel. This came in handy when we needed to access her bag quickly. I also loved the organized pockets on the back, which were perfect for holding our phones, toys, anything you need to have quick access to. A lot of strollers make you pay extra for this type of accessory since it is usually an add-on, so it was nice to see this included.

If you are looking to add an item to your baby registry, I think a stroller is a must have. I was ready to be outdoors within days of getting home from the hospital, so we used our stroller right away. This stroller would have been a great option for us when we were creating our registry! It has just the right amount of features (more than a simple umbrella stroller but doesn't have the over-the-top features that can cost you an arm and a leg). It's reasonably priced in comparison to some of the other strollers we looked at, including our first one.

The recline feature is really great for running errands at nap time, and the one hand fold is very intuitive to operate and is great when you have you have a baby in one arm and are trying to store the stroller with the other. The stroller is also much lighter and compact than I thought it would be- this has made it the go stroller for our family.
The fact that you can put in an infant car seat directly was very important to us with an infant. We purchased our stroller and car seat separately but picked based on compatibility.
One unique feature we liked with this stroller was the front panel opening. We used it for easy access items like coats and blankets without having to dig through everything.
We have accumulated 4 strollers since our son was born but have found that this one hits a sweet spot between all the others that have made it our go to since we got it.

Smooth maneuvering, great design!
October 28, 2018
The first thing I loved about this stroller is that it is fairly compact and not too heavy. It took me all of 15 minutes to put together from the time I opened the box to the finish. This stroller is a great size and awesome quality that I will be able to use for years to come with my now 14-month-old daughter. We have taken it on a few adventures with ease including a Target run (the style makes this stroller so easy to move from side to side in cramped aisles while shopping!), for a walk around the lake, and a trip to the Farmer's Market (I was able to hold all of my veggies, meat, and eggs in the stroller seat, on the top, and in the basket while I held the baby!) It does work on slightly bumpy terrain, but I would not do much off roading with this particular style, it is not as smooth of a ride. However, this stroller is crazy smooth on floor and sidewalk surfaces, so easy to push and maneuver! My favorite part of this stroller is probably how easy it is to open and close. I have had strollers that were so hard to open and close that my husband literally gave them away! I love that I can open and close this stroller one-handed while holding the baby AND load it up into the back of my car with ease. There is an option to pair this stroller with a car seat with the included car seat adapters for when babies are tiny, which is definitely something I think about when researching strollers to get the most features with one stroller. I find it very convenient that I can access the bottom basket from both the front and back with ease, and that the basket is a great size for all your baby needs or some light shopping. The seat recline is easy to use when your little needs a nap on the road, I was able to do it with only one hand. Living in sunny California means that the extra large canopy is well used to keep the sun out of my daughters eyes (a major issue I have had with other strollers!) I adore that I can peek in on her through the top with just a lift of a flap -- there is no extra loud velcro on the top that wakes up baby anytime you want to check on them while walking, but the flap is designed well to stay put open or closed. I think my only con is that there are no cup holders. There is a nifty little bag attachment with two deep pockets and a zipper pocket. I find that these pockets are great for my water bottle, but a little worrisome with a hot cup of coffee. Overall, I think this is a really great stroller and would highly recommend it! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Stroller!

Mom Approved Stroller!
October 28, 2018
I received this stroller as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and was very eager to try it when I received it. I can honestly say that I have not found one this wrong with this stroller. It is easy to fold and unfold, lightweight and rides very smooth. To me, those are very important factors to have in a stroller since I am a busy, working mom of two under two! It is so easy to push and feels like it drives itself. The reclining seat makes it so convenient for naps when we're out and can't get home for nap time. The sun canopy is also great and has multiple positions to keep the sun off baby. I love this stroller and would highly recommend it to any mom out there. You will not be disappointed!!

Absolutely Fabulous! Lightweight and Sturdy!
October 27, 2018
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product! This stroller is absolutely awesome. I have three other strollers and they all have serious limitations. This is super lightweight, you can truly close it with one-hand, and it feels really sturdy. It handles really well. I used it for both my 9 month old and 2.5 year old and it worked great for both of them! I bought my other primary stroller as part of a travel system, but that stroller is super heavy. It took me a few months after my c section before I felt like I could lift it into my trunk by myself. This I'm confident I could use sooner. I've always used a different brand of infant car seat but we're going to switch so we can use this stroller! The only thing I don't love is how you recline the seat. Baby can't be in the seat and it take a bit of getting use to. But overall, absolutely fabulous. I read that they're coming out with a double in January and we'll definitely be buying!

Love this stroller
October 27, 2018
This stroller checks just about all the boxes. It's relatively light (I can haul it into my trunk one handed after that awesome one handed fold), maneuvers well and has a generous basket. Unlike other folding strollers, this one is easily accessed from the front so you can really maximize the entire basket. I love stuffing extra blankets and our jackets up front. Though my kiddo is older, this would be great to use as part of a travel system and will definitely meet our needs for years to come. Only change I'd make would be sturdier wheels/tires. I find that even on bumpy city sidewalks (this isn't a jogging or trail stroller) it's nice to have larger or air filled tires for a smoother ride. I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

We LOVE our Britax B Lively!!!
October 27, 2018
Thank you weespring parent panel for providing us this free product! This is the best stroller we've found! Our son is 15 months old and we are excited that he can grow with it and we won't need to buy another! The one-handed fold design makes travel easy, especially with just one parent. The recline ability worked great when our son was getting tired on our hiking trip. The wheels are sturdy enough for uneven surfaces and great for hiking. The basket underneath is great for storing extra sippy cups and snacks on long days. The zippered front access panel is great to hold cell phones or other electronics and block them from the weather.

Great compact stroller for getting around town!
October 26, 2018
The Britax B-Lively stroller is great for urban parents! We walk everywhere in our neighborhood with our 1-year-old and this stroller is awesome in letting us get out of the house quickly. My husband and I can easily hold our baby in one arm and grab the stroller by the handle with the other. My baby is tall but the B-Lively will be useful for years to come because there's lots of legroom and headspace. The full recline with the large sunshade is awesome for getting him to nap as well!

This is the third stroller in our collection (full-size, travel, and B-Lively) and I find myself grabbing it the most because it the easiest to use one-handed for quick trips in the neighborhood or for running short errands. It's also easy to throw in our small car for trips to the grandparents. Since it's a travel system, we would have been able to use this since birth if we had a Britax infant car seat. But I do wish that they came with other adapters for other car seats since the stroller is great.

Overall, if you're looking for a one and done stroller that is light but still roomy, the Britax B-Lively is it!

Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for the stroller!

Light weight stroller that will grow with your child
October 25, 2018
I am really impressed with the Britax B-Lively Stroller. I live in a city and spend a lot of time walking; picking a stroller is almost as important as picking a car! I am impressed with the quality of materials and durability of the stroller. It is sturdy and handles bumpy sidewalks well. My little one enjoys walks and occasionally naps in the stroller. The B-Lively easily reclines and the adjustable sunshade comes down nice and low to keep the sun out of her eyes. There are ways to adjust the sunshade to allow ventilation which is perfect to control the temperature on a hot sunny day or to just peak at her. I really love how light the stroller is and the ability to close it effortlessly with one hand is very convenient, especially when you are holding a wiggling toddler. The basket underneath is not gigantic, but works well with my diaper bag and all of the essentials I need. One feature that I think is not hyped up enough is the ability to access the basket from the front of the stroller. I love this feature! I found the storage pouch very convenient to store my keys, tissues, snacks, water bottles, etc. Although I did not use it with the carseat, it is great that this is part of travel system. This is definitely a stroller that will grow with your child from infancy through the toddler years. Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this stroller to try and review. I will be able to use this stroller for many years to come!

Comfortable, Convenient, and Versatile
October 24, 2018
My bottom line on the Britax B-Lively Stroller is that is an excellent choice for anyone who is looking for something that is quick and easy to transport and use for a wide range of activities while offering plenty of storage space and spanning a wide weight and age range (from infant up to 44 inches tall or 55 lbs) for their kiddos! Pushing this stroller feels somewhere between pushing a jogging stroller and traditional full-sized stroller and it is very functional for multiple purposes from city strolling to picnics in the park on less-smooth terrain. Note that the included safety instructions say to NOT use for jogging, but only for walking speed.
The B-Lively arrived packaged very efficiently without excess packaging or space in the box for being jostled around during transport. Assembly required just scissors to snip a couple of zip ties that held on protective foam. The only actual assembly necessary was to velcro on the canopy and snap on the wheels, which are ALL (front and back) quick on-off type wheels that you just push into place until they click. They come off just as easily for transporting or storing in tight spaces, though I've not found that necessary as they really aren't positioned in a spot that makes them space-consuming when the stroller is folded up. The front wheel is a smidge harder to remove than the back 2 simply because the buttons you push to release it take a bit more of a squeeze than the back wheels do but it still only takes about 3 seconds total to remove or attach that wheel.
If using the stroller in combination with an infant seat there are 2 small receiver pieces that just clip onto the sides of the stroller to cradle the infant seat. Just as quick and easy to attach or remove as the wheels are, though they do not have a dedicated storage compartment anywhere ON the stroller so they would need to be stored somewhere else once the stroller is being used without an infant seat. Also, anyone wishing to use this stroller in conjunction with an infant car seat should note that for infant seats that are not Britax, an infant car seat adapter frame must be used, which is sold separately. For me personally, I typically only use car seats IN the car so having the car seat adaptable (or not) with the stroller wasn't a major issue.
When using this stroller my 15 month old is super relaxed! He loves that there is nothing obstructing his view and seems extremely comfortable riding in it. When completely reclined the seat lays *almost* flat, though not quite (see picture). It reclines and goes back up fairly easily by just sliding up or down a little tab along a strap on the back of the stroller and didn't bother my son at all when I adjusted it either way. The canopy can be extended half or all the way and offers excellent coverage when opened all the way. The screen for viewing the baby spans the full width of the canopy so you can actually see your baby when the canopy is open rather than having to try to peek through a super tiny little square of screen. Since the wheels are rubbery and not air-filled the ride seemed slightly less smooth than strollers I've used with air-filled tires but not enough to be a problem at all, in fact, I think my son prefers being able to feel a little bit of jiggle from the ground beneath the tires! I love that I don't have to worry about having a flat tire or having to air up a tire on this stroller, which has happened to me in the past with others. I'm 5'5" and the handle is at a very comfortable height for me to where my arms sit at just over a 90 degree angle at my elbows while pushing the stroller. There are no cup holders for the child or the parent on this stroller which is a bit of a bummer but we typically just have water bottles with us anyway so that wasn't a huge concern for us as there is plenty of space in the basket for those. The brake for locking the stroller in place is just a single pedal which is much more efficient than having to fumble around with one for each wheel. You just step on the pedal and it goes down very smoothly to lock both back wheels, pulls up just as easily to unlock, and holds the stroller tightly in place when down. The stroller turns soo smoothly. It handles best on smooth terrain but we had no problem pushing it through fall leaves or mildly-bumpy grassy areas. The storage basket on the bottom offers plenty of space for an average sized diaper bag as well as a few extras. The front-access for the basket is something I've wished I had in the past and it is so worth having! No more digging everything out of the storage basket to reach whatever was put in the front of it (i.e. always the baby's sippy cup). The hanging zippered pockets by the handle are convenient for keeping a phone, goldfish crumbs, barbie shoes, dog treats, and more close at hand.
When you're ready to put the stroller away you simply push in a small button on one side to unlock it then lift the strap handle in the seat of it and the whole thing just pops into a fold. It is incredibly easy and can very literally be done one-handed while holding a toddler in the other arm. It rests partly on the handle when folded so you don't have to worry about locking wheels first to prevent it from rolling away when folded, super handy, though you'll want to be sure to not set in on anything very dirty or wet when folded as it will get the handle icky.
All-in-all this is a great, versatile, and sturdily-built stroller that I expect to get years of use out of for my current 15 month old as well as any future littles!
Thanks so much to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing this stroller in exchange for my honest review!

Good choice for an "in between" stroller
October 24, 2018
I received this Stroller from the weeSpring Parent Panel to rate and review. Overall, this appears to be a solid choice for a stroller that you could use that is somewhere in between an umbrella stroller and a larger stroller with more bells and whistles.

Britax has done a really nice job of making a stroller that is streamlined, attractive, fairly light, and has some nice features. My favorite feature is the one-hand fold. When you are holding a baby in one arm, it's so nice to be able to close the stroller with your other hand. This makes it very convenient for loading it in and out of the car, onto a bus or train, etc. It's lightweight, so it truly is possible to easily carry the stroller with one hand once it's collapsed. I also really like the front access panel for the basket. It makes it easy to access that part of the basket versus pulling everything out or awkwardly reaching in. Finally, the recline was a snap to use; so easy to release and tighten. It is nice that the stroller has a good range for recline to sitting up.

There were a few things that were drawbacks, though. First, the handlebar is not adjustable. I am short, and the handle came up to my ribcage, making this uncomfortable to push for a long time. It should also be noted that the wheels are hard plastic, and not rubberized, so definitely not all-terrain. Large cracks in the sidewalk stopped the stroller cold and I had to be careful to navigate these so that my daughter wasn't thrust forward. The basket underneath is quite small and the sides are not very elasticized. It would make it hard to use, for example, if you wanted to do a quick grocery shopping.

Overall, compared to other strollers in its class, this seems like an excellent stroller. I think it would be an especially good choice for travel, if you wanted something a little nicer than a classic umbrella stroller, and/or if you needed the benefit of a travel system.

Solid Stroller
October 23, 2018
I was very excited to receive this stroller for free to review as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. Overall, this is a very solid stroller, and one that will definitely last for years. It reclines nearly all the way, so you could definitely use this for an infant, but it is large enough for a tall toddler. My 14 month old had plenty of room!

When I first pulled this stroller out of the box, I was surprised by the cherry red (I have a girl) but my daughter instantly took to it. She anxiously waited as I assembled the stroller. Assembly was a breeze, even with a 14 month old trying to climb into the stroller every couple of seconds. All you have to do is pop the wheels on, and slide the canopy on. As for design, I really like the squared look of the canopy. I thought that was a nice modern touch.

Depending on the height of your child, you may need to adjust the strap height. This honestly took me longer than assembling the whole stroller because I had trouble finding the right angle for the straps to come out. Once I found that sweet spot it was no problem. When I first saw the strap adjustment mechanism (a buckle on the back), I thought maybe my daughter would pull on the straps too hard and be able to dislodge it, but once I started working with the straps, I quickly realized there would be absolutely no chance of that!

The stroller itself is generally well-designed. I like the 3 wheel design because I find it easier to turn than a 4 wheel stroller. The double front wheel adds a bit of stability for when you go up and down off a sidewalk. The push bar is at a pretty good height, although I do wish it was adjustable. I also like the one hand fold. There's a button to press and then you grab the handle on the seat. I had no trouble doing this while holding my daughter on my opposite hip. The weight of the stroller is reasonable. It's certainly not as lightweight as an umbrella stroller, but it's sturdier, and has a bar that allows you to push with one hand, so I like that better.

My absolute favorite feature of this stroller is the built in console. On my other stroller, I had to get an add-on console, which works well but can slide, or gets in the way when I fold the stroller. The built-in console is great for regular use. I live in NYC, so I don't frequently pull my stroller in and out of cars, but the built in console is so much better for that (no risk of losing in a taxi!) and for traveling. The only downside to the console is that it doesn't work very well for a cup of coffee (in a paper cup, like from starbucks). However, if you really need that function, you'll have to buy an add-on console no matter what stroller you decide to buy.

The stroller basket capacity is decent. It holds a diaper changer (with wipes and diapers), a fair number of coats, and some library books no problem. My one frustration with the basket is that the sides of the basket are not elastic, and can make it difficult to place bulky items in the basket. I found I only really got frustrated when I needed to place a bag of groceries down below (remember, I live in NYC), so if you don't plan to grocery shop with your stroller, you'd probably be ok. You can always put groceries in via the front access panel, just not the whole paper bag at one time. If you are planning to carry along a big diaper bag, it definitely is not going to fit, but just strap it to the push bar for easy access.

Wheels-the hard wheels are pretty smooth, although I generally prefer the air-filled tires. This really only makes a big difference if you're going off-sidewalk with your stroller.

I noticed that the stroller came with the car seat adapters. I appreciated this gesture, since it means your stroller can be extra useful when your little one is tiny and you want to wheel them from your apartment to the car without killing your arm, but I didn't personally use them. I just walk or take the Subway in Manhattan.

Overall, if you're looking for an easy to fold stroller, that you can use for a while, this is a solid option.

Lightweight + Versatile
October 23, 2018
I was excited to try out the Britax B-Lively stroller and was surprised at how light it was and how it was super easy to set up and collapse, even while holding a baby in my other hand (which is SO important).

We live close to the beach and this stroller was super smooth on the streets but also on the dirt paths and boardwalk. I love having 1 stroller that can do it all, as opposed to 4 different ones, so this one could definitely hang with our busy lifestyle.

The basket is a little small but I really like that you can access it from the front (behind the foot rest) and also from the back. I also really liked that this stroller came with a little zipper compartment for your phone and water bottle so you don't need to buy another one to hang from the top.

Thank you WeeSpring Parent Panel for giving us the opportunity to test out this great stroller!

Awesome Stroller!
October 23, 2018
I fell in love with this beauty of a stroller the first time I used it.
So easy to handle, to open and close one handed.
The ease with which this stroller moves and turns is
unbelievable. It is the most compact stroller I have ever
had the privilege of owning. It fits in the back of my van
and I still have room. All 3 of my girls can fit and they love
the reclining position. We were blessed to receive this
as a gift from weeSpring Parent Panel and have told
absolutely everyone where we got it and that they need
on too! Thanks weeSpring!!!! We love it!

LOVE THIS STROLLER
October 23, 2018
I LOVE this stroller! I wish it had been around 9 years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest. It's very durable and the bigger wheels provides a very smooth ride. I don't imagine I'll be using another stroller for years to come. The seat recline was easy to figure out and use and I love how accessible the adjustment straps were. Many strollers have that part hidden or it's difficult to figure out. LOVED the one hand fold as I usually go on walks or out with the kids by my self while the hubby is at work. My older stroller was bulky, heavy and hard to fold and put away in my van, causing a great deal of frustration. This stroller is frustration free. It seriously feels like a new toy for mommy, haha! I would have loved having the whole travel system but the stroller is still great on its own. The front access panel to the basket is another great feature and who wouldn't like another way to get items from the basket? All around, an amazing stroller! Love the red color. Very thankful to have received it as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel!! You spoiled us this time!
